On the morning of March 5, the Fourth Session of the 13th National People’s Congress opened at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing. Under the premise of effective epidemic prevention and control, the Group (Bureau) organized its employees to watch the live broadcast of the session. This year marks the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, as well as the first year of implementing the 14th Five-Year Plan and embarking on a new journey toward fully building a modern socialist country. At this pivotal juncture, the Two Sessions carry special significance, assume major responsibilities, and hold extraordinary importance.
Watching the live broadcast, employees were fully engaged, listening intently as Premier Li Keqiang of the State Council delivered the Government Work Report. When Premier Li Keqiang remarked in his report, “In 2020, with the people’s satisfaction and the world’s attention, this year will go down in history,” the conference room erupted in proud and resounding applause. Employees on the front lines of the project also followed the Two Sessions’ live coverage on their mobile phones. This viewing of the Two Sessions’ live broadcast has greatly boosted staff morale and enthusiasm; all expressed their commitment to continue paying close attention to the Two Sessions, to take Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era as their guiding principle, and to study, thoroughly understand, and earnestly implement the spirit of the Two Sessions, thereby ensuring a strong start to the 14th Five-Year Plan and making even greater contributions to the development of their organization.
