Recently, Shang Honglin, Party Secretary, Chairman of the Board, and Director of our Group (Bureau), paid a visit to China Coal Aviation Survey and Remote Sensing Group Co., Ltd. (the Aviation Survey and Remote Sensing Bureau) for inspection and exchange, and also conducted a field visit to the Shaanxi Institute to provide guidance on its work.
On March 19, Shang Honglin first visited the Geospatial Information Bureau’s Big Data Center and its Historical Exhibition Hall, where he viewed the real-time global satellite in-orbit operations system, the Coal Aviation Cloud Platform, and the Shaanxi Province Geological Disaster Monitoring System. He gained an understanding of the Bureau’s big data center development and technological innovations, after which the two sides held a symposium for exchange and discussion.
Lai Bailian, Party Secretary and Chairman of China Coal Aviation Survey and Remote Sensing Group Co., Ltd. (Aviation Survey and Remote Sensing Bureau), outlined the Bureau’s business development, the construction of its “Four Centers and One Platform,” and the establishment of its 3S base. Shang Honglin provided an overview of our group (Bureau)’s basic profile, its strategic direction, and its development roadmap. The two parties reached a consensus on cooperation in areas such as big data applications, ecological and environmental governance and restoration, and the application of remote-sensing technologies.
On March 20, Shang Honglin visited the Shaanxi Institute to conduct a work inspection and guidance tour and convened a symposium.
At the meeting, Chang Wenlin, Secretary of the Party Committee and President of Shaanxi Institute, reported on the institute’s performance for the first quarter. Shang Honglin noted that over the past two years, Shaanxi Institute has made significant progress in both its overall appearance and its development. He then outlined five key requirements for the institute’s current stage of growth: First, further strengthen Party building, emphasize political leadership, and reinforce ideological education among Party members and cadres; second, intensify reform efforts and continuously expand market outreach; third, accelerate industrial restructuring, focus on the mining sector, excel in the core geological business, and establish a “small institute, large corporation” model; fourth, bolster marketing initiatives and strive to implement an organization-wide marketing approach; and fifth, prioritize talent development and succession planning, adhering to a dual-track approach that combines specialized training with well-rounded skill development.
Jiao Sen, Chief Engineer of the Group (Bureau), Yu Yuejin, Chief Investment Advisor of the Group, He Bin, General Manager of Mingda Marine Engineering Co., Ltd., and heads of relevant departments accompanied the inspection.
