　　 On March 24, the Fourth Party Branch of our institute and the First Party Branch of the Taian Municipal Bureau of Natural Resources and Planning organized a group of party members to conduct a joint thematic Party Day activity—“The First Lesson After Commencement”—at the drilling construction site of the Xiaobaiyu work area under the “Urban Geological Survey Project for the Urban Area of Taian City, Shandong Province.”

　　At the event, Comrade Wu Shumeng, Secretary of the Fourth Party Branch of our institute and Director of the Tai’an Geological Sub‑Institute, conveyed the relevant requirements on work safety issued at our institute’s 2021 work conference. He emphasized that the key to ensuring workplace safety lies in effective implementation, and urged project personnel to intensify efforts to identify potential hazards, promptly formulate corrective measures, and rigorously enforce them.

　　Wang Lei, Head of the Geological Exploration Management Section of the Tai’an Municipal Bureau of Natural Resources, led Party members in studying the spirit of the Notice issued by the Office of the Shandong Provincial Department of Natural Resources on supervising geological exploration entities to effectively carry out the “First Lesson Upon Commencement of Work.” He emphasized that Party members on the production front lines should fully exemplify their vanguard role, take the lead in strengthening safety awareness, intensify epidemic prevention efforts, promptly inspect and eliminate safety hazards, and ensure safe production.

　　Wang Lei inspected the construction site, inquired about the project’s progress and the implementation of safety‑related measures, and instructed that all on‑site work be carried out to the highest standards and with rigorous oversight, while ensuring production safety at all times.
