On May 12, Zhang Haiman, Deputy Director of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of Qinghai Province, led a delegation to the Group (Bureau) for an exchange and symposium. Following a visit to the Sinochem Mingda Corporate Culture Exhibition Hall, the two sides discussed collaborative efforts to develop salt‑lake resources, establish an industry fund, and promote the transformation and upgrading of the salt‑lake sector.

Shang Honglin, Party Secretary, Chairman of the Board, and Director of the Bureau, welcomed the visit of Zhang Haiman and his delegation. He provided a detailed overview of the Group’s (Bureau’s) development history, core business areas, technological strengths, and corporate strategy, with particular emphasis on the Group’s (Bureau’s) longstanding cooperation in Qinghai’s salt lakes and its extensive experience in chemical and mineral resource development. Mr. Shang expressed his hope that both sides would, focusing on Qinghai’s salt‑lake resources, implement an innovation‑driven development strategy and contribute to the province’s high‑quality growth.

Zhang Haiman expressed his approval of our group’s (bureau’s) technological strengths, platform advantages, and service philosophy, while highly commending the group’s (bureau’s) achievements in salt‑lake resource development. He also provided an overview of Qinghai Salt Lake, highlighting General Secretary Xi Jinping’s directive to leverage the province’s unique strengths and resources to accelerate the development of a world‑class salt‑lake industrial base. Zhang Haiman expressed his hope that, by drawing on the core competencies of both sides, they could strengthen cooperation around the goal of building such a world‑class industrial base, achieving mutual benefit and win‑win outcomes. Li Jianli, Deputy Director of the Qinghai Provincial Local Financial Regulatory Bureau, along with other relevant officials, as well as Chen Haiyong, Member of the Party Committee and Chief Accountant of the group (bureau), Tian Li, Deputy General Manager and Deputy Director, Li Kai, Chief Legal Counsel, and Gu Qiang, Director of the Geological Research Institute and Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, attended the symposium. Relevant departmental representatives from the group (bureau) also participated.
