On the morning of June 4, our institute organized the launch ceremony and themed signature campaign for the 2021 Safety Production Month, under the theme “Fulfilling Safety Responsibilities and Promoting Safe Development,” and made arrangements to implement all tasks related to the month. The event was chaired by Sun Xinyong, Vice President and Chairman of the Trade Union, with nearly 80 staff members from across the institute in attendance.
At the launch ceremony, Zhang Shuqi, Director of Safety and Vice President, read out the “2021 Hospital ‘Safety Production Month’ Activity Plan” and outlined arrangements for related work. Wang Qingfeng, Party Secretary and Vice President, delivered a mobilization speech for Safety Production Month, emphasizing three key areas: thoroughly studying General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important expositions on workplace safety; comprehensively advancing targeted safety rectification efforts; and fostering a robust safety‑oriented culture. He urged all departments to maintain a high level of vigilance in their thinking and to act with utmost determination, firmly shouldering their responsibilities. He also called on all staff members to actively participate in the Safety Production Month activities, ensuring that everyone prioritizes safety, takes proactive measures to ensure safety, and safeguards safety—starting with themselves and from their respective posts. By firmly embracing the concept of safe development and significantly enhancing safety awareness, he emphasized the need to achieve new and greater successes in our hospital’s safety and environmental protection management.
Subsequently, all employees solemnly signed their names one by one on a banner themed “Fulfilling Safety Responsibilities, Promoting Safe Development,” thereby reaffirming their commitment to firmly upholding the principle of workplace safety, rigorously implementing safety responsibilities, and advancing the institute’s sustained, healthy, safe, and orderly development. Liu Xingwang, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Deputy Director (General Manager) of our bureau, along with Wang Yongming, Director of the Market Development Department, and other leaders, visited Shandong to conduct field research and, at the invitation of the organizers, participated in the signature‑taking event.
This event, which combined the posting of special promotional posters for “Safety Production Month” and posters highlighting General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important remarks on workplace safety and emergency management, along with the distribution of safety‑related brochures and simple safety‑information fans, employed practical and effective educational and publicity measures. These efforts successfully disseminated safety knowledge, enhanced employees’ safety awareness and competence, and fostered a positive atmosphere in which everyone, every task, and every environment prioritizes and safeguards safety.
Going forward, our institute will, in accordance with the activity plan, actively organize and carry out comprehensive safety production inspections, emergency response drills, safety knowledge competitions, as well as a series of educational and publicity activities under the “Safety Production Month” initiative, implemented in various formats.
