On June 16–17, the On-site Exchange Conference on Party Building and Ideological‑Political Work in China’s Petroleum and Chemical Industries, together with the Fifth Session of the Seventh Council of the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation’s Political Research Association, was held in Zhijiang, Hubei Province. More than 200 participants attended, including secretaries of Party committees from enterprises and institutions in the petroleum and chemical sectors, heads of departments responsible for Party building and ideological‑political work, representatives of political‑work cadres, and delegates from member units of the Federation’s Political Research Association. During the conference, a number of advanced units and outstanding individuals in Party building and ideological‑political work were commended. Our institute was jointly awarded the title of “Advanced Unit in Party Building and Ideological‑Political Work in the Petroleum and Chemical Industries” by the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation and the China Chemical Workers’ Ideological‑Political Work Research Association. Wang Qingfeng, Secretary of the Institute’s Party Committee and Vice President, attended the event and accepted the award plaque on behalf of our institute.
This marks the second time our hospital has received this honor in the past five years. In recent years, the Party Committee of our hospital has consistently placed ideological and political development at the forefront, guiding all cadres and staff to thoroughly study and implement Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, as well as the spirit of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and the successive sessions of the 19th Central Committee. Through pragmatic and innovative measures, the Party has continuously strengthened its own building, always regarding ideological and political work as a vital force for boosting the motivation of cadres and staff and advancing the hospital’s long-term development, thereby providing robust ideological, political, and organizational guarantees for the hospital’s reform and development.
