East–West Collaboration Strengthens Synergy, Complementary Advantages Drive Development, and Joint Efforts Usher in a New Chapter for the Salt Lake Industry—A team from our bureau has been selected as one of the “Top Ten Distinctive Talent Projects” at the Qinghai Province Talent Project Negotiation Conference.

　　Recently, the talent‑team project jointly established by our bureau and Qinghai Salt Lake Industry Co., Ltd. was successfully selected as one of the “Top Ten Distinctive Talent Projects” at the first Qinghai Province Talent Project Fair, themed “Pooling Wisdom in the Sanjiangyuan Region to Boost a New Qinghai.”

　　To accelerate the development of a world-class salt‑lake industrial base and support the upgrading and sustainable development of the salt‑lake sector, our bureau has signed a strategic industry–university–research cooperation framework agreement with Qinghai Salt Lake Industry Co., Ltd. on the circular, comprehensive utilization of salt‑lake resources, jointly advancing talent cultivation and research into the integrated development and utilization of salt‑lake resources. Our bureau has dispatched a team of eight senior technical experts to work full-time at Qinghai Salt Lake Industry Co., Ltd. to carry out scientific research, and established the Chahrhan Salt Lake Pilot‑Scale Demonstration Base, using research projects as a catalyst to launch comprehensive collaboration. To date, we have achieved 10 scientific and technological breakthroughs, obtained 40 authorized patents, delivered four specialized lectures, guided the publication of 26 academic papers, formed eight research teams, and mentored 34 trainees.

　　This selection as one of Qinghai Province’s “Top Ten Distinctive Talent Projects” has further strengthened the cooperative foundation between our bureau and Qinghai Salt Lake Industry Co., Ltd., marking the emergence of a concerted effort to jointly promote the sustainable development of the salt‑lake industry. Moving forward, both parties will continue to share resources, engage in comprehensive industry–university–research collaboration that leverages their respective strengths, and harness the synergistic effects of jointly established scientific‑technological platforms and collaborative projects. Together, they will cultivate top talent, pursue sustained growth, and shoulder the historic responsibility of building a world‑class salt‑lake industrial base.
