On July 20, Party Secretary and Vice President Wang Qingfeng, Vice President and Trade Union Chairman Sun Xinyong, along with other members of the delegation, visited the site of the geothermal resource exploration and evaluation project in Xiuhui Town, Zhangqiu District, to extend their care and condolences to frontline workers enduring the sweltering heat. This visit further advanced the institute’s trade union’s “Bask in the Party’s Grace, Follow the Party, Bring Coolness, and Strive Together” outreach initiative.

The hospital leadership visited the project site, delivering heat‑relief supplies such as Huoxiang Zhengqi Water, along with daily necessities, to the workers. They extended warm condolences and heartfelt gratitude, while gaining a thorough understanding of the project’s progress, the plans for the next phase, and any existing issues or challenges. After hearing the briefing, the hospital leaders commended the project team’s performance and the frontline staff’s spirit of resilience in braving extreme heat, and urged them to prioritize safety measures during periods of intense heat and severe weather, ensuring the utmost protection of personnel.

In the project team’s office, the institute’s leadership engaged in heartfelt conversations with project staff, discussing both work and life, addressing their questions, and boosting their morale. Yang Xiaomin, Vice Chair of the Trade Union and Secretary of the Youth League Committee, also presented frontline workers with materials containing General Secretary Xi Jinping’s speech at the rally celebrating the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, ensuring that the Party’s latest guiding principles were promptly delivered to the construction site and into the hands of frontline employees.

Drawing on the project’s work and the Institute’s ongoing reform and development, Wang Qingfeng delivered a brief Party lecture, urging all members of the project team to fully exemplify the vanguard role of Party members. He emphasized that they should not only carry out their project tasks with high quality and proactively expand into new markets, but also show greater care and attention to, and actively participate in, the Institute’s various activities; contribute constructive ideas and suggestions for the institution’s reform and development; and wholeheartedly demonstrate the vigor and vitality of young professionals, thereby jointly fostering a positive atmosphere at the Shandong Institute—one characterized by dynamism, unity, and a strong commitment to achieving results.

Heads of the Party and Mass Work Department (Party Committee Office), the Planning and Operations Department (Audit Department), and other departments accompanied the慰问 and engaged in in-depth discussions with frontline employees on further improving and refining departmental operations and enhancing the service quality of functional units, while soliciting their views and suggestions.
