On the afternoon of August 13, Dean and Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee Diao Haizhong, Chief Engineer Peng Mingzhang, and other members of the delegation visited the geothermal well drilling site of the “Geothermal Resource Investigation and Evaluation Project in XiuHui Town, Zhangqiu District, Jinan City” to conduct an inspection and provide on-site guidance.

At the construction site, the institute’s leadership engaged in cordial discussions with the project team, gaining a thorough understanding of the project’s preliminary work and the achievements attained thus far. Subsequently, the leadership conducted inspections of the project’s safety, quality, and epidemic prevention measures, commended the progress made in the early stages, provided guidance on challenges and technical issues encountered during implementation, and encouraged the project team to press ahead with renewed vigor, delivering high‑quality, efficient results and laying a solid foundation for the project’s next phase.

Wang Jiguo, Assistant to the Dean and Director of the General Office; Dong Yan, Director of the Hydrology and Environment Institute; and Qi Xiequan, Deputy Director and Chief Engineer of the institute, accompanied the inspection and provided guidance.
