On September 29, Tang Nanchu, a member of the Party Committee and Secretary of the Commission for Discipline Inspection of the China National Bureau of Coal Geology, led a delegation to the Zhejiang Institute to conduct a research visit and provide guidance.
At the symposium, Liu Lifeng, President of Zhejiang Institute and Deputy Secretary of its Party Committee, on behalf of the institute’s leadership team, presented a report on the institute’s production and operations, transformation and upgrading, the 14th Five-Year Plan, Party history study and education, as well as efforts to strengthen Party conduct, integrity, and anti-corruption work.
Tang Nianchu commended the Zhejiang Institute’s achievements and offered three guiding principles for its development during the 14th Five-Year Plan period: First, continue to emancipate the mind, accelerate progress, proactively enhance core competitiveness, and strive to achieve transformation and upgrading; second, adopt a holistic perspective, integrate into broader development initiatives, adjust industrial layouts, and actively participate in ecological and environmental protection as well as rural revitalization, thereby leveraging the Yangtze River Delta’s strategic locational advantages; third, strengthen Party building to drive development, ensure rigorous study by leadership teams—particularly focusing on the important speeches of General Secretary Xi Jinping—to gain political and economic insights, give full play to the exemplary and leading role of Party members, and continuously reinforce integrity and clean governance in project management, thus using high‑quality Party building to promote high‑quality development.
Tang Nianchu and his delegation also visited the Sinochem Geology East China Analytical Testing Research Center, where they commended the Zhejiang Institute for its proactive expansion into the ecological and environmental sector and its strong emphasis on building state-of-the-art, high‑precision ecological laboratories.
Lu Binfa, General Manager of the Yangtze River Delta Command Center under the General Bureau, and Liu Yuanyue from the Commission for Discipline Inspection’s Comprehensive Supervision Office accompanied the inspection. Members of the Party and administrative leadership team of the Zhejiang Institute, along with the head of the General Department, participated in the symposium.
