On December 7, the Party Committee of the Group (Bureau) organized party members from Beijing-based units to visit the Exhibition Hall of the History of the Communist Party of China, where they carried out a themed Party Day activity titled “Reflecting on a Century of Party History and Drawing Strength to Forge Ahead.” Tang Nanchu, Secretary of the Commission for Discipline Inspection of the China National Bureau of Coal Geology, attended the event accompanied by Wang Yong, Deputy Secretary of the Group (Bureau) Party Committee and Secretary of the Commission for Discipline Inspection.
The event is anchored in the inaugural exhibition of the Exhibition Hall of the History of the Communist Party of China, titled “‘Staying True to Our Original Aspiration and Keeping Our Mission Firmly in Mind’: An Exhibition on the History of the Communist Party of China.” Through viewing and studying more than 2,500 photographs and over 4,500 cultural relics and artifacts, participants gain a profound understanding of our Party’s invaluable experiences and remarkable achievements—its unwavering commitment to its original aspiration and mission, its pioneering efforts in laying the foundations for the nation, and its extraordinary journey in forging a bright future.
The exhibition, organized into four sections, presents to audiences the grand epic of the Party and the people’s century-long struggle. The great victory of the New Democratic Revolution profoundly transformed the course and trajectory of the Chinese nation’s development since modern times, reshaped the future and destiny of the Chinese people and the Chinese nation, brought an end to the history of old China as a semi‑colonial, semi‑feudal society, and put an end to the state of fragmentation and disunity that had long plagued the country, thereby achieving national independence and the liberation of the people. During the period of socialist revolution and construction, the Party united and led the people in completing the socialist revolution and advancing socialist construction, establishing the basic socialist system and attaining remarkable achievements in socialist development, thus ushering in the broadest and most profound social transformation in the history of the Chinese nation. In the new era of reform and opening up and socialist modernization, the Party rallied the people to draw profound lessons from history, launched a new great revolution of reform and opening up, advanced socialist modernization, and pioneered, upheld, defended, and developed socialism with Chinese characteristics, enabling China to catch up with the times in giant strides. In the new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics, the Party has united and led the people to grasp the overarching context of the great struggle, the great project, the great cause, and the great dream; to coordinate and advance the “five-sphere” integrated plan and the “four‑comprehensive” strategic layout; and to achieve historic accomplishments and transformative changes in the cause of the Party and the country, complete the building of a moderately prosperous society in all respects, and embark on a new journey toward fully building a modern socialist country.
Through this Party‑day activity at the Exhibition Hall of the History of the Communist Party of China, themed “Reflecting on a Century of Party History and Drawing Strength to Forge Ahead,” all Party members drew inspiration from the Party’s century‑long journey, reaffirmed their original aspirations and mission, and strengthened their resolve to resolutely shape the future. They will continue to make even greater contributions to the coal, chemical, and geological sectors.
Liang Dongqing, Deputy Director (in charge of daily operations) of the Discipline Inspection Office of the China National Bureau of Coal Geology, along with more than 70 Party members from the Group (Bureau), attended this themed Party Day event.
