On December 8, Diao Haizhong, a member of the Party Committee of the Group (Bureau), and his delegation visited the Yunnan Institute to conduct a work inspection and provide guidance.

At the meeting, Diao Haizhong listened to a work report on Yunnan Institute’s production and operations, Party building, and progress in the three-year reform initiative. He commended the institute’s achievements and set forth specific requirements. Diao Haizhong emphasized the need to strengthen political development, treating the study, publicity, and implementation of the spirit of the Sixth Plenary Session of the 19th CPC Central Committee as a major political task for the present and the period ahead, and effectively translating the outcomes of Party history study and education into a powerful driving force for work. He also called for fostering an enterprise-wide marketing mindset, intensifying market expansion efforts, focusing on core responsibilities and main business areas, continuing to leverage advantages in resource exploration technologies, and, grounded in Yunnan while reaching out to Guizhou and Tibet, ensuring robust operational and production performance. Furthermore, he urged stepping up the collection of accounts receivable, vigorously reducing “two types of funds,” and enhancing overall operational quality. He stressed the importance of accelerating corporate transformation and reform to inject new vitality into enterprise development and concentrate efforts on promoting high-quality growth. Finally, he underscored the need to firmly establish a sense of the “red line” for workplace safety, strengthen safety awareness campaigns, maintain routine epidemic prevention and control measures, and deeply embed safety‑prevention consciousness in the minds of all employees.
