Staying true to our original aspiration and following the Party, youth contribute to the new era—The Third Congress of the Communist Youth League of China at the China Chemical Geology And Mining Bureau, together with the First Congress of China Chem-Mingda Holding Group Co., Ltd., was successfully held in Fuzhou.

On December 13, the Third Congress of the Communist Youth League of the China Chemical Geology And Mining Bureau and the First Congress of China Mingda Holding Group Co., Ltd. were successfully held in Fuzhou. The congress heard, deliberated, and approved the work report of the Second Committee of the Communist Youth League of the China Chemical Geology And Mining Bureau, reviewed the report on the collection, use, and management of league dues, and elected the Third Committee of the Communist Youth League of the China Chemical Geology And Mining Bureau and the First Committee of China Mingda Holding Group Co., Ltd.

Zhai Fangming, Secretary of the Youth League Committee of the China National Coal Geological Bureau and General Manager of the Anhui Regional Command, attended the meeting to provide guidance and deliver a speech. Wang Yong, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Secretary of the Commission for Discipline Inspection of the Group (Bureau), also attended and addressed the gathering. A total of 56 participants—including principal officials from the Youth League Committees of all units under the Group (Bureau) and youth league members and young representatives from the front lines—were present at the event.

Zhai Fangming extended his congratulations on the successful convening of the conference, fully commending the Group (Bureau) Youth League Committee for its significant efforts and pivotal role in recent years—strengthening ideological guidance for young people, supporting the enterprise’s core tasks, fostering youth contributions and achievements, and nurturing their growth and development. He expressed his hope that the new-term Youth League Committee will continue to lead all League members and young people in firmly upholding their ideals and convictions, unswervingly following the Party, and constantly enhancing their sense of responsibility and mission in carrying out the work of the Communist Youth League in the new era. He also urged all League members and young people to keep their new mission firmly in mind, to be discerning youth who are diligent in learning and possess solid skills, to project a fresh image, and to be enterprising young people who forge ahead with determination and ride the waves of progress.

In his address, Wang Yong emphasized that the new-term Youth League Committee must thoroughly implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important speech on May Fourth, firmly grasp the fundamental tasks, political responsibilities, and guiding principles of the Communist Youth League in the new era, and, building on the solid achievements already attained, strive for even greater progress. He called for rallying the powerful youthful force to help the China National Coal Group Corporation forge a world-class enterprise group in geological exploration and ecological civilization, one that integrates green practices, environmental protection, and safety, while maintaining strong competitiveness and high professional standards. In the face of new circumstances and new missions, the younger generation must always be steadfast political successors to the cause of Sinochem Mingda, unwavering contributors at their posts, and firmly uphold the Communist Youth League’s fundamental identity as a political organization. Wang Yong expressed his hope that the new Youth League Committee would take the convening of this congress as an opportunity to gain a deep understanding of the overall situation, clearly recognize the trends in the Group’s (Bureau’s) reform and development, define its tasks and goals, and unite and lead the broad ranks of League members and young people to actively participate in the Group’s (Bureau’s) reform and development, thus continuously opening up new prospects for the work of the Communist Youth League.

At the meeting, Zhu Zhehui, on behalf of the Second-term Youth League Committee, delivered a work report titled “Youth Hearts Turn to the Party, Making Contributions in the New Era: Uniting and Leading League Members and Young People to Contribute Their Youthful Strength to Promoting High-Quality Development at Sinochem Mingda.” The report comprehensively analyzed and summarized the Group’s (Bureau’s) major achievements and lessons learned over the past five years, objectively assessed the new circumstances and tasks facing the Youth League, and outlined the overall guiding principles, overarching goals, and strategic vision for the next five years: First, thoroughly study and implement Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, as well as the spirit of the 19th National Congress of the CPC and the resolutions of all plenary sessions of the 19th CPC Central Committee, continuously strengthening ideological and political education among young people; second, wholeheartedly engage in the broader cause of enterprise reform and development, enhancing young people’s sense of mission and responsibility to make contributions and achieve success; third, innovate approaches to supporting youth growth and development, effectively boosting the sense of gain and satisfaction among League members and young people; fourth, strengthen the Youth League’s political character, advanced nature, and mass orientation, and reinforce the historical sense of mission underlying the comprehensive and rigorous governance of the League.

The conference called on all young people to strive to become exemplary youth of the new era, anchoring their youthful aspirations in the dreams of building a strong enterprise and a strong nation. In advancing the Group’s (Bureau’s) high-quality development and in forging an industry‑leading conglomerate for resource development and ecological conservation, they are urged to write a glorious and inspiring chapter of youth as they contribute to the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation—the “Chinese Dream.”
