Recently, the Group’s Henan Bureau, Shandong Institute, and Fujian Institute each received letters of appreciation from the National Emergency Management Ministry, which commended their achievements and efforts in areas such as research projects and personnel support.
The Ministry of Emergency Management has issued a letter of gratitude to the Henan Bureau, expressing appreciation for its active participation in research on earthquake and geological disaster issues and for its unwavering support of emergency management efforts related to geological hazards. The Henan Bureau undertook the research project “Institutional Mechanisms for Preventing and Responding to Geological Disasters in the New Context,” which has provided an important reference for strengthening China’s institutional framework for geological hazard prevention and response, while also offering new perspectives for emergency management of geological disasters in the evolving landscape.
The Ministry of Emergency Management has issued letters of appreciation to the Shandong Institute and the Fujian Institute, fully commending and highly praising the outstanding performance of Hou Xinxing, a staff member of the Shandong Institute, and Chen Canzhong, a staff member of the Fujian Institute, during their secondment. The Ministry also expressed its gratitude for the strong support provided by both institutes to emergency management efforts. To bolster the development of national geological and geological‑disaster emergency rescue capabilities, the Group (Bureau) has, for two consecutive years, dispatched core technical personnel to assist the Earthquake and Geological Disaster Rescue Department of the Ministry of Emergency Management in carrying out disaster‑related emergency management tasks. While providing technical support and strengthening technical exchanges, this initiative has also broadened the horizons and perspectives of seconded officials. The receipt of these letters of appreciation underscores the high regard in which the national geological‑disaster emergency management authorities hold the professional conduct and technical expertise of these two employees.
This receipt of a letter of appreciation from the National Emergency Management Ministry represents significant recognition for the three organizations.
