The成果 report for the “Shandong Province National Survey of Mineral Resources—Survey of Cement‑Grade Limestone and Other Mineral Types, Rock and Mineral Testing Project (Package A6)” has been rated as Excellent.

On December 20, the Shandong Provincial Institute of Geological Survey convened relevant experts to review the project report for the “Shandong Province National Mineral Resources Survey Project—Survey of Cement‑Grade Limestone and Other Mineral Types, Rock and Mineral Testing Component (Package A6).” Following evaluation and scoring by the expert panel, the report received a score of 93, earning it the distinction of an outstanding survey report.

This project was a provincial‑level fiscal initiative publicly tendered by the Shandong Provincial Institute of Geological Survey in 2019, marking the second time our institute has undertaken a national‑condition survey. After more than a year of dedicated effort, we have successively completed the mineral resource survey of cement‑grade limestone deposits in mining areas across Jinan, Tai’an, Zibo, Weifang, Yantai, and other regions. We have clarified the attribution relationships between the survey subjects and the survey units (mining areas), thoroughly characterized the reserves, quality, structural features, and spatial distribution of cement‑grade limestone resources in these areas, and accurately established the baseline status of these resources. This work will help advance the establishment of a regular mineral resource survey and evaluation system, enabling the information‑based management and sharing of fundamental mineral resource data.

This project has provided a solid foundation for accurately assessing the mineral resource landscape, formulating science-based resource strategies and policies, and safeguarding the national mineral resource security baseline. The favorable outcome of this review underscores the recognition of our institute’s investigative capabilities. Moving forward, we will continue to leverage our extensive experience in survey work to deliver robust technical support for foundational geological studies in Shandong Province.
