“Comrade Zhang Feng has assisted our bureau in carrying out a wide range of tasks, including geological hazard prevention and control as well as geological exploration management, providing robust technical support for the smooth implementation of our disaster prevention and mitigation efforts with his exceptional professional expertise…” Recently, a letter of appreciation from the Jinan Municipal Bureau of Natural Resources and Planning fully commended Comrade Zhang Feng, a key technical expert at our institute’s Geological Survey Branch, for his outstanding performance during his secondment to the bureau.
In June this year, Comrade Zhang Feng was seconded to the Jinan Municipal Bureau of Natural Resources and Planning. Bearing his mission and responsibilities in mind, he worked at the grassroots level with diligence and resilience, upheld integrity and dedication to public service, and demonstrated unwavering compliance with organizational directives. Through these efforts, he honed his capabilities and refined his professional conduct, successfully completing all assigned tasks with outstanding performance. His overall achievements vividly exemplified the pragmatic, responsible work ethic and meticulous, rigorous approach of our institute’s staff, earning him unanimous praise from his colleagues at the Bureau.
This is also the second letter of appreciation our institute has received from its supervising authority within half a month, following the letter of thanks we were awarded on December 10 by the Earthquake and Geological Disaster Rescue Department of the Ministry of Natural Resources. Moving forward, our institute will remain committed to its core responsibilities and primary mission, continue to leverage its professional and technical strengths, and actively align itself with major national strategies and local economic and social development. We will contribute the wisdom and capabilities of Shandong Institute to building a “Beautiful China,” a modern, strong province, and a new Jinan that is prosperous, vibrant, and well‑connected.
