Recently, the Group (Bureau) held a signing ceremony for the appointment of a specially appointed chief expert to its Academician and Expert Workstation. The ceremony was chaired by Shang Honglin, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Board, and Director of the Group (Bureau). Zhu Lixin, a second-level researcher at the Development Research Center of the China Geological Survey, chief scientist of major international cooperation projects, and a foreign member of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences, was invited to attend the event.
Shang Honglin extended a warm welcome and expressed his gratitude to Researcher Zhu Lixin for his visit. He emphasized that the chief expert system is an important initiative undertaken by the Group (Bureau) to advance talent management, marking a solid step forward in supporting the national strategy for scientific and technological innovation and pursuing high-quality development. He encouraged the Group’s (Bureau’s) professional and technical personnel to emulate Researcher Zhu Lixin’s spirit of scientific inquiry and critical thinking, while boldly and courageously embracing innovation.
At the meeting, Jiao Sen provided a detailed overview of the Group (Bureau)’s academician and expert workstations, the progress of its science and technology projects, and the innovative scientific and technological achievements attained. Yao Chaomei then read out the official appointment decision.
Shang Honglin, representing the Group (Bureau), and He Bin, representing Mingda Marine Engineering Co., Ltd., signed a tripartite appointment agreement with Researcher Zhu Lixin and presented the letters of appointment. The three parties will engage in comprehensive cooperation in areas such as the development of science and technology innovation platforms, the cultivation of scientific and technological talent, and the research of key technologies in the industry.
Jiao Sen, Member of the Party Committee and Chief Engineer of the Group (Bureau); Yao Chaomei, Head of the Chief Experts Panel; Wang Jun, Chief Economist and Acting Chairman of the Trade Union; Deng Xiaolin, Chief Expert; He Bin, Chairman of Mingda Ocean Engineering Co., Ltd., a “demonstration enterprise for science-and‑technology reform”; and Song Shikun, General Manager, attended the signing ceremony. Relevant personnel from the Group (Bureau)’s Human Resources Department, Safety, Environmental Protection and Supervision Department, and Geological Science and Technology Department also participated in the event.
