Zhang Yong and his delegation from the Information Research Institute of the Ministry of Emergency Management paid a visit to the Group (Bureau) for a symposium and exchange.

  On March 1, Zhang Yong, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Information Research Institute of the Ministry of Emergency Management, and his delegation visited the Group (Bureau) for a research and exchange visit.

  Accompanied by Liu Xingwang, Deputy Secretary of the Group (Bureau) Party Committee, General Manager, and Deputy Director, and by Party Committee Member Diao Haizhong, Zhang Yong toured the Sinochem Mingda corporate exhibition hall, gaining an in-depth understanding of the Group’s (Bureau’s) 70-year history of reform and innovation, as well as its enduring corporate culture.

  At the symposium, Liu Xingwang extended a warm welcome to Zhang Yong and his delegation, providing a detailed overview of the Group (Bureau)’s reform achievements since the 13th Five-Year Plan period and its development blueprint for the 14th Five-Year Plan. He highlighted the Group’s core business areas, technological strengths, and the substantial accomplishments it has attained in coal‑chemical and mineral resource exploration and development. He also expressed the hope that both sides would focus on coal‑chemical and mining services, identify common ground, innovate cooperation models, and work together to forge a new paradigm of high‑quality development.

  Zhang Yong outlined the Information Research Institute of the Ministry of Emergency Management, detailing its historical evolution, current status, key industries, and future development directions. He expressed high appreciation for the Group (Bureau)’s achievements in areas such as corporate‑style management, market‑oriented operations, and the integration of Party building with business activities. He stated that he hopes the two sides will collaborate sincerely, leverage their respective technological strengths, and achieve mutual benefit and win‑win outcomes in the mining services sector.

  The two sides also engaged in in-depth discussions on mine safety, emergency rescue, smart mining, laboratory development, and information technology advancement.

  Li Fangwei, Director of the Office of the Information Research Institute of the Ministry of Emergency Management; Song Yimeng, Director of the Mine Safety Research Institute; Wang Peng, Director of the Information Technology Research Institute; and Liu Zhiwen from the Information Resources Department accompanied the inspection. Attending the symposium were Shu Guowen, President of the Geological Survey General Institute; Liu Guoqing, Chairman of Mingda Technology; He Xianfu, Chairman of Digital Technology; Wang Zhigang, Director of the Safety, Environmental Protection, and Supervision Department; as well as relevant personnel from the Geological Science and Technology Department.
