All Party branches of our hospital have completed the 2021 organizational life meetings and democratic evaluations of Party members.

To thoroughly study and implement the spirit of the Sixth Plenary Session of the 19th CPC Central Committee, strictly enforce the Several Guidelines on Intra-Party Political Life under New Conditions, and in accordance with the “Notice of the Organization Department of the CPC Central Committee on Convening the 2021 Annual Organizational Life Meetings of Grassroots Party Organizations and Conducting Democratic Assessments of Party Members,” as well as relevant directives from the Group (Bureau) Party Committee, and pursuant to the unified arrangements of the Institute Party Committee, all party branches within our institute have, in recent days, successively completed the 2021 organizational life meetings and democratic assessments of party members.

Prior to the meeting, each Party branch organized Party members to conduct focused study sessions and encouraged self‑study, thereby thoroughly studying Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, the spirit of the Sixth Plenary Session of the 19th CPC Central Committee, and the Party Constitution, thus laying a solid ideological foundation for holding high‑quality organizational life meetings and democratic evaluations of Party members. Through face-to-face discussions, branch committee members exchanged views with one another, as did branch committee members with Party members and Party members among themselves, soliciting opinions and suggestions. All Party members, in accordance with relevant requirements, conducted in‑depth self‑examination to identify their own problems and shortcomings, and carefully completed the “Democratic Evaluation of Party Members Registration Form,” ensuring thorough preparation for the organizational life meeting.

In light of their organizational structure and actual production and business conditions, most Party branches conducted this organizational life meeting and democratic evaluation of Party members in the form of Party subgroups. The leaders of each subgroup adhered to the principle of seeking truth from facts, taking the lead in conducting self-criticism across multiple dimensions—politics, ideology, study, work, competence, discipline, and conduct—and the attending Party members then proceeded, one by one, with individual self-assessments followed by mutual evaluations among comrades. All leading Party members of the institute participated in the organizational life meetings and democratic evaluations of their respective subgroups or Party branches as ordinary Party members. Through identifying problems, engaging in self-reflection, and courageously carrying out criticism and self-criticism, the sessions achieved the goals of aligning thinking, strengthening unity, and advancing work. During the democratic evaluation of Party members, each subgroup and Party branch, based on the daily performance of Party members, organized objective and impartial anonymous scoring and rating.

Following the completion of organizational life meetings and democratic evaluations of Party members, each Party branch convened a general meeting of all Party members. At these meetings, the secretaries of the Party branches reported on the branch’s work over the past year and on the issues identified, clarified the direction for corrective measures, formulated specific remedial actions, and made commitments to implement them, thereby ensuring that the rectification efforts yield tangible results. The meetings also communicated to all Party members the outcomes of the democratic evaluation of individual Party members within the branch.

This organizational life meeting and the democratic evaluation of Party members constitute an important intra‑Party activity for deepening the study and implementation of the spirit of the Sixth Plenary Session of the 19th CPC Central Committee. Through criticism and self‑criticism, the broad ranks of Party members have further strengthened their sense of organizational discipline and cultivated their Party spirit, effectively enhancing the cohesion and combat effectiveness of the Party branch. This will help better leverage the role of grassroots Party organizations as strong fortresses and that of Party members as pioneers and models in all future endeavors.
