On March 14, Liu Xingwang, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, General Manager, and Deputy Director of the Group (Bureau), along with his delegation, paid a courtesy visit to Dou Wangui, Vice Chairman of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region CPPCC and Secretary of the Aksu Prefectural Party Committee. The two sides held talks on strengthening ties, deepening cooperation across multiple sectors, and boosting the autonomous region’s economic and social development. Jia Jinglei, Deputy Secretary of the Aksu Prefectural Party Committee and Executive Deputy Commissioner of the Prefectural Administrative Office, also attended the meeting.

At the symposium, Liu Xingwang provided a brief overview of the Group’s (Bureau’s) historical development, core business areas, technical capabilities, and industrial layout. He highlighted the achievements made in major national projects, including the investment and acquisition of the Jinchuan Coal Mine, ecological restoration and remediation at the Muli Mining Area in Qinghai, and exploration for potash resources in Xinjiang. Liu Xingwang stated that the Aksu Prefecture in Xinjiang boasts abundant mineral resources, a favorable business environment, and vast potential for development. Our Group (Bureau) will resolutely implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s address at the Third Central Symposium on Work in Xinjiang, fulfill our responsibilities as a central state‑owned enterprise, leverage our technological and human‑resource strengths, strengthen ties with the Aksu Prefecture, and actively seek in-depth cooperation in such fields as mining‑rights investment, mineral resource development, geological prospecting, geological disaster prevention and control, and ecological and environmental restoration.
Dou Wanggui welcomed the visit of Liu Xingwang and his delegation, expressing his appreciation for the Group’s (Bureau’s) technological strengths and service philosophy. Jia Jinglei provided a brief overview of the economic situation in the Aksu Prefecture and its major investment projects. Relevant leaders of the Aksu Prefecture expressed their hope that our Group (Bureau), in alignment with the strategic positioning and development needs of both sides, would strengthen technical support and talent exchanges, pursue in-depth cooperation, engage in mutually beneficial investments, and jointly apply for national projects, thereby contributing to the economic development of the Aksu region in Xinjiang.
During his time in Xinjiang, Liu Xingwang paid a visit to the Group’s (Bureau’s) cadres dispatched to the region, encouraging them to fully leverage their technical expertise, carry out their work with diligence, and embody the geological spirit of “Three Glories” and “Four Special Qualities,” as well as the fine professional conduct characteristic of Sinochem Mingda personnel. He urged them to enhance their own capabilities, strengthen the promotion of the Sinochem Mingda brand, and contribute to Xinjiang’s development.
Bai Hebin, Deputy Secretary-General of the Aksu Administrative Office, and Zhang Hongquan, Member of the Party Leadership Group and Deputy Director of the Regional Bureau of Natural Resources, attended the meeting. Jing Miao, Deputy Director of the Market Development Division of the Group (Bureau), along with relevant leaders from the Xinjiang Institute, accompanied the symposium.
