The Beijing Institute of Mineral Resources and Geology Visits the Group (Bureau) for an Exchange

On April 21, Wang Shulai, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Deputy General Manager of the Beijing Institute of Mineral Resources and Geology Co., Ltd.; Tian Jinchuan, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Secretary of the Commission for Discipline Inspection; and Xu Yinghong, Secretary-General of the Mining Geology Professional Committee of the Geological Society of China, paid a visit to the Group (Bureau) for an exchange. Attending the symposium were Jiao Sen, Member of the Group (Bureau) Party Committee and Chief Engineer, and Deng Xiaolin, Chief Expert.

Jiao Sen extended a warm welcome to Wang Shulai and his delegation, briefly outlining the Group’s (Bureau’s) historical evolution, industrial structure, core business, and technological strengths. He placed particular emphasis on the Group’s (Bureau’s) progress in dual-carbon research, particularly in the areas of mine ecological restoration and the comprehensive utilization of chemical and mineral resources.

Wang Shulai outlined the Beijing Institute of Mineral Resources’ reform process, current development status, and future plans. Xu Yinghong provided an overview of the Mining Geology Professional Committee’s basic profile and the research plan for the “Dual Carbon Implementation Pathways in the Mining Industry,” while expressing sincere gratitude to the Group (Bureau) for its longstanding support of the committee.

The symposium resulted in an agreement to pursue in-depth cooperation in areas such as dual-carbon research, ecological and environmental protection, green exploration, and academic forums.

Relevant personnel from the Group’s (Bureau’s) Geological Science and Technology Department and the Institute of Geology attended the meeting.
