On May 12, a delegation of four—including Jin Yuqi, Chairman of Jinan Baode Metallurgical Limestone Co., Ltd.; Lu Jing, Head of the Mining Department; Jiang Dongquan, Deputy Manager of the Jisteel Environmental Protection Industrial Park; and Sun Bo, Director of the Mining Department of the Shandong Provincial Mining Association—visited our institute for discussions and exchanges. Peng Mingzhang, Chief Engineer and Executive Deputy General Manager (in charge of daily operations) of our institute, accompanied the meeting. Xiong Yuqiang, Director of the Mineral Exploration Institute, Liu Jianwen, Director of the Geological Science and Technology Department (also serving as Director of the Safety and Environmental Protection Department), along with relevant staff members, attended the session.

Peng Mingzhang extended a warm welcome to Jin Yuqi and his delegation on their visit to our institute for discussions. The leaders of both sides provided brief overviews of their respective organizations. Liu Jianwen then offered detailed responses regarding the key issues of interest, including the delineation of mining rights, ongoing operations, and resource reserves at the Lanling Iron Mine in Lanling County, Shandong Province. Following an in-depth exchange, both parties expressed their willingness to collaborate, with plans to actively pursue cooperation in exploration and development, leveraging their respective strengths to achieve mutual benefits and jointly advance a shared vision for growth.

At the meeting, both parties reviewed their longstanding cooperative relationship and expressed their anticipation for launching new initiatives in areas such as technology and resources, thereby laying a solid foundation for further deepening collaboration between our institute and Jinan Baode Metallurgical Limestone Co., Ltd.
