July 1st Visit to Show Care for Veteran Party Members, Bringing Warmth and Comfort to Their Hearts


On June 28–29, in the run-up to the July 1st anniversary, Shang Honglin, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Board, and Director of the Group (Bureau); Wang Yong, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Secretary of the Commission for Discipline Inspection; and Chen Haiyong, Member of the Party Committee and Chief Accountant, each led teams on behalf of the Group (Bureau) Party Committee to visit and extend condolences to Party members who have served for 50 years, Party members facing financial hardship, and veteran cadres, conveying festive care and greetings.

Shang Honglin and his delegation visited Beiyuan Road in Chaoyang District to pay a visit to retired cadre Zheng Ruocan, extending the organization’s care and holiday greetings. Zheng Ruocan is a veteran Party member with 37 years of membership who was commended by the State Science and Technology Commission for his ability to lead major design and research projects, making significant contributions to the Party’s cause and to the development of the Mining Bureau. Shang Honglin warmly chatted with the elder, urging him to take good care of his health, and instructed the relevant officials to pay close attention to the retirees’ living conditions and well-being, helping them resolve any difficulties they may encounter. At the home of retired leader Liu Wanning, Shang Honglin carefully inquired about the elder’s family situation and his children’s employment prospects, expressing the hope that the former leader would continue to contribute his experience and wisdom, and remain engaged in and supportive of the Mining Bureau’s development.

Wang Yong and his delegation visited the home of former leader Wang Shengli, patiently inquiring about his health and learning about his daily needs. They encouraged him to stay optimistic, take good care of himself, and promptly report any difficulties he may face to the Party organization. Veteran Party member Li Tiandu, a seasoned veteran of the War to Resist U.S. Aggression and Aid Korea, shared personal stories from his revolutionary experiences, reflecting on the Party’s glorious journey and its trials and tribulations. As he spoke of the earth‑shaking changes our country has undergone today, the elderly comrade was deeply moved. During their conversation, he expressed his support for and approval of the Mining Bureau’s work, praising its progress and urging young Party members to carry forward the spirit of their predecessors, continue striving with dedication, and contribute to the Party’s cause and the Bureau’s development. Chao Shufen, a distinguished Party member who has served for 50 years, received heartfelt greetings and warm regards from Wang Yong, who conveyed the organization’s care and concern, thanked her for her contributions to both the Party and the Mining Bureau, and extended his sincere salutations and highest respect.

At the homes of veteran Party members Sun Xianli and Wang Jianjin, Chen Haiyong engaged in warm conversations with them, carefully inquired about their health, listened to their views and suggestions on the development of the Mining Bureau, and extended his holiday greetings in advance.

The veteran Party members expressed their profound gratitude for the care and concern of the Party organization, pledged to always remember the Party’s kindness, and vowed to continue contributing their remaining energy while steadfastly supporting the development of the Mining Bureau.

The condolence delegation stated that veteran Party members are a precious asset to the Party, consistently upholding the spirit of “Three Glories and Four Special Qualities,” and serving as exemplary role models for younger Party members. They have left an indelible mark on the 70-year development of the Mining Bureau, and their contributions must never be forgotten. The Mining Bureau should extend even greater care and concern to these veteran Party members, attentively address their needs and aspirations, and ensure that the Party’s and the Bureau’s warmth and support truly reach their hearts.
