[Summer Cooling Initiative] Hospital leaders visited the High-Tech East District Urban Geological Survey Project to extend condolences and support to frontline workers.

Since the onset of summer, sustained high temperatures have made for sweltering conditions. To ensure safe production and effective heat‑prevention measures under these extreme summer conditions, thereby safeguarding the safety and health of all employees, on June 30, Sun Xinyong, Member of the Institute’s Party Committee and Vice President; Jia Ruifeng, Chairman of the Institute’s Trade Union; Liu Jianwen, Director of the Geological Science and Technology Department (Safety and Environmental Protection Department); and other members of the delegation visited the geophysical exploration site of the Urban Geological Survey Project in the High‑Tech East Zone to carry out a “Summer Coolness Delivery” initiative and conduct a safety inspection.

The hospital’s leadership carefully prepared cooling supplies—including beverages, watermelon, and heat‑relief kits—for frontline staff. After gaining a thorough understanding of the project’s construction progress, they instructed the project team to adopt more scientific and reasonable scheduling during periods of extreme heat. They also urged everyone to closely monitor weather conditions, take precautions against heatstroke and adverse weather, and ensure that all operations are carried out safely.

Given the project’s extremely tight schedule, significant construction challenges, and stringent technical requirements—compounded by adverse conditions such as scorching summer heat—the Geophysical and Geochemical Exploration Institute carefully selected three Party members to form a dedicated youth commando team for field operations. Through concrete actions, they have embodied the principle of “one Party member, one banner,” ensuring that the Party flag flies high at the front lines. Each Party member has taken the lead, rallying formidable combat effectiveness on this “red construction site” and effectively driving the smooth progress of all tasks.

This “Cooling‑Off” initiative brought refreshing relief to frontline workers during the sweltering summer, while also touching their hearts. It conveyed the profound care and concern of the institute’s leadership, bolstering employees’ sense of belonging and well‑being, and further igniting their enthusiasm for work. Participants pledged to remain steadfast at their posts, persevering in battling the heat, prioritizing safety, and upholding quality, thereby ensuring the successful completion of all production tasks and contributing even more vigorously to the development of Sinochem Shandong Institute.
