On the eve of July 1, led by Yang Cheng, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Secretary of the Commission for Discipline Inspection, a delegation representing the hospital’s Party Committee paid visits in successive groups to retired senior cadres, veteran Party members who joined before the founding of the People’s Republic of China, and elderly soldiers who took part in the War to Resist U.S. Aggression and Aid Korea. They presented these comrades with holiday gifts and monetary condolences, along with the warm care and festive greetings of the Party organization.
At each home, the institute’s leadership and staff engaged in warm, cordial conversations with veteran comrades and their families, carefully inquiring about their health and living conditions. They listened as the veterans recalled the glorious years they devoted to the Party’s revolutionary cause, deeply sensing the unwavering faith these veteran Party members hold for the Party. The veteran comrades expressed heartfelt gratitude for the organization’s thoughtful care, commended the institute’s meticulous and thorough work with them, and could hardly contain their excitement. After learning about the institute’s recent reforms and development, they voiced strong support for its alignment with national policies, its focus on core responsibilities and main tasks, and its efforts to advance transformation, upgrading, and high-quality growth. They also extended their best wishes for the future development of the Shandong Institute.
