The hospital leadership paid a visit to China National Coal No. 1 Construction Group and went to the Taigemiao Project in Inner Mongolia to conduct an inspection and extend their condolences.


Recently, Party Secretary and President Wang Qingfeng led a delegation to pay a courtesy visit to China National Coal No. 1 Construction Group, and also conducted an inspection and offered encouragement at the Taigemiao Project in Inner Mongolia, which is being undertaken by our institute’s Mineral Development (International) Branch. Accompanying him were Party Committee Member and Vice President Zhang Shuqi, Chief Engineer and Executive Deputy General Manager (in charge of daily operations) Peng Mingzhang, and Director of the Geological Science and Technology Department (also serving as Director of the Safety and Environmental Protection Department), Liu Jianwen, among others.

The institute’s leadership visited the new office building of China National Coal No. 1 Construction Bureau and held a symposium with Ji Tao, Secretary of the Bureau’s Party Committee, Director, and Chairman. Ji Tao extended a warm welcome to the visiting delegation and outlined the Group’s recent developments and key business activities. Wang Qingfeng provided an overview of Shandong Institute’s basic profile and its current production and operational status, expressing his hope to learn from the No. 1 Bureau in areas such as market expansion and the reform of the three major systems. The two sides engaged in an in-depth exchange on how to further deepen reforms and enhance core competitiveness.

Subsequently, the institute’s leadership visited the construction site of the dynamic hydrological monitoring system project for the Xingtaige–Taigemiao mining area in the Dongsheng Coalfield of Inner Mongolia, which is currently under implementation, to conduct an inspection and offer encouragement. This project is a production‑oriented research initiative that, through the deployment of groundwater monitoring wells, real-time collection of groundwater and surface‑water data, development of groundwater monitoring software, and refined data analysis, aims to establish a long‑term, dynamically updated, modularly functional, and intelligently预警‑enabled three‑dimensional water‑resource monitoring system for the mining area. In doing so, it will further investigate the patterns by which deep‑level mining affects underground flow systems and surface water bodies, propose scientifically sound and efficient measures for groundwater control and water‑preserving coal extraction, and provide technical support for subsequent mine‑area development, construction, and safe production.

After hearing a briefing on the project team’s progress, the institute’s leadership conducted an in-depth review of the project’s advancement, workplace safety, construction quality, and epidemic prevention measures, and then carried out an on-site inspection at the field drilling site. The inspection team expressed full appreciation for the project’s implementation and the standardized management of the construction site, while setting higher standards for safety and quality. They also provided on-site guidance to address the technical challenges encountered during the project’s execution.

Wang Qingfeng pointed out that this project is one of the largest coal‑industry research projects our institute has undertaken in recent years. The project team should uphold the core values of “customer first, talent‑centered, technology‑driven, and a craftsman’s spirit,” focusing on addressing clients’ key pain points and challenges, continuously strengthening technical quality and service assurance, and striving for survival through quality, development through technology, and growth through service. On the basis of mutual benefit and win‑win outcomes, they should steadily enhance the brand value of Sinochem Shandong Institute. At the same time, during construction, it is essential to constantly reinforce safety awareness, rigorously implement all safety production responsibilities, and strengthen safety safeguards to ensure safe project operations.

Subsequently, the institute’s leadership visited the project site to extend their greetings and condolences to all members of the project team, inquiring in detail about their living conditions and offering early Mid-Autumn Festival wishes. The warm care and encouragement from the institute’s leaders allowed frontline staff to feel the warmth of the Shandong Institute family, greatly boosting morale. Project team members unanimously pledged to carry out the project safely and efficiently with full enthusiasm, striving to contribute to the institute’s high‑quality development.
