On September 10, Wang Yong, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Secretary of the Commission for Discipline Inspection of the Group (Bureau), led a delegation to the Future Industrial Park of the Xiaomi Innovation Research Center at Mingda Ocean Company and to two project sites at Dongsheng Science Park, where they extended condolences and conducted holiday‑related safety inspections.
Wang Yong expressed his gratitude to the management and construction personnel who remained on the front lines during the Mid-Autumn Festival, presenting them with care packages and extending his heartfelt wishes. Accompanied by his delegation, Wang Yong visited the project site, conducted a thorough inquiry into safety‑assurance measures, listened to the project manager’s briefing on the overall construction progress, and engaged in cordial discussions with members of the project team, asking about the project’s construction status, staffing levels, safety protocols, and the personal well‑being of the workers.
Wang Yong expressed full appreciation for the project’s on-site management and, at the same time, set forth three key requirements for the company: first, to spare no effort in ensuring workplace safety, resolutely overcoming complacency and a lucky‑go‑with‑the‑flow mentality, and effectively preventing and curbing all types of production safety incidents; second, to strengthen management to ensure strict compliance with laws and regulations; and third, to fully implement epidemic prevention and control measures, balancing safety and quality in tandem, so as to greet the successful convening of the 20th National Congress with outstanding results and a flawless performance.
He Bin, Secretary of the Party General Branch and Chairman of Mingda Ocean Company, emphasized that all project departments must rigorously implement the following four measures: First, continue to strengthen education and awareness‑raising efforts to enhance all employees’ safety consciousness; second, cooperate fully with the supervisory and inspection activities of the local industry regulatory authorities to improve the standardization and quality of project construction; third, make timely and full payments of all outstanding dues to ensure the legitimate rights and interests of migrant workers; and fourth, intensify safety publicity and safeguards to further reinforce the principle of “safety first, life above all,” thereby making due contributions to Mingda Ocean Company’s successful completion of its annual objectives.
The Group (Bureau) conducted a briefing on the spirit of the Central Committee’s Eight-Point Decision on Improving Party and Government Conduct for the project department’s management and construction personnel, while also carrying out a comprehensive inspection of Mingda Ocean Company’s work safety practices.
