Wang Qingfeng, focusing on the theme of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and the eight key issues outlined in its report, provided a systematic exposition and in-depth analysis of the spirit of the Congress, grounded in the realities of our institute and informed by his own learning and reflections. He also, in close alignment with the institute’s future work, set forth specific requirements for thoroughly understanding, mastering, and effectively implementing the spirit of the 20th National Congress, with a view to advancing high-quality development at Shandong Institute in the new era and on the new journey.
Wang Qingfeng emphasized that studying, publicizing, and implementing the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China is the top political task for the present and the period ahead. All Party members and cadres must more consciously place political development first, more resolutely uphold the “two establishments,” and firmly practice the “two safeguards.” They should integrate the study and implementation of the Congress’s spirit with all current work, starting with themselves, and effectively translate their learning outcomes into new principles for serving the people, new approaches to planning development, new methods for solving problems, and new momentum for advancing their work. Furthermore, they must redouble their efforts to ensure a thorough understanding, solid grasp, and practical application of the Congress’s spirit, so as to ensure that its guiding principles take root and yield tangible results within our institution.
01 Study thoroughly and systematically, and strive to be steadfast believers in the spirit of the 20th National Congress.
It is essential to fully appreciate the profound significance of studying, publicizing, and implementing the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, deeply grasp its core principles, and thoroughly understand its underlying essence. We must closely align ourselves with the spirit to master the “manifesto,” adhere to its key tenets to serve as effective “propagandists,” and, in our respective posts, write a new chapter. In doing so, we must ensure that our thinking and actions are firmly aligned with the spirit of the 20th CPC National Congress and with the decisions and arrangements of the CPC Central Committee.
The report to the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China offers the most concise and vivid summary of the work accomplished over the past five years and the momentous transformations of the past decade in the new era. All Party members and cadres must study the original text closely, gain a deep understanding, and integrate its key ideas, ensuring that the learning process translates into a unified mindset, firm ideals and convictions, strengthened theoretical grounding, and enhanced capabilities and qualities. They must continue to uphold the spirit of struggle, remain steadfastly committed to striving forward, and effectively turn the fruits of their study into a powerful driving force for continuously advancing the high-quality development of our institute.
All staff throughout the institute must firmly shoulder their primary responsibilities, exemplify the vanguard role of Party members, and, in close alignment with the decisions and arrangements adopted at the 20th National Congress of the CPC and our institute’s “1231” core development strategy, diligently fulfill their duties across all areas—such as transformation and upgrading, enterprise reform, market expansion, and management improvement—proactively assume responsibility, and actively adapt to the evolving dynamics of the geological exploration market. By boldly innovating our approaches and energetically opening up new markets, we will serve as a leading force committed to practical action, working wholeheartedly to ensure that the spirit of the 20th National Congress takes root and yields fruitful results within Shandong Institute.
At the conclusion of the Party class, emphasis was placed on and arrangements were made for key tasks, including ensuring timely project payments at year-end, effectively controlling “two‑asset” levels, enhancing workplace safety, and strengthening epidemic prevention and control. All departments were urged to make every effort to achieve the year’s goals and targets, proactively plan next year’s work, and strive to get off to a strong start in this inaugural year of studying and implementing the spirit of the 20th National Congress.
