To strengthen the training, education, and assessment of prospective Party members, enhance their ideological and political quality, and rigorously control the entry threshold for Party membership, On December 26, the Party Committee of the institute organized a training session for prospective Party members and newly admitted Party members. Twelve prospective Party members from the institute’s various branch committees, along with this year’s newly admitted Party members, attended the training.
Yang Cheng, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Secretary of the Commission for Discipline Inspection of the institute, delivered a mobilization address for the training and outlined three expectations and requirements. First, Enhance ideological awareness and gain a profound understanding of the significant importance of training for prospective Party members. Second, Cultivate the correct motives for joining the Party, conscientiously hold yourself to the high standards expected of Party members, and actively serve as a model and leader in all endeavors. Third is Adopt a conscientious attitude toward learning, attend classes attentively, and ensure that you gain knowledge and apply it in practice.
Subsequently, Comrade Yin Xiuzhen, an organizer from the Party Committee of the institute, conducted a specialized training session, providing a detailed explanation of the requirements, specific procedures, and key considerations for developing new Party members.
Following the training, to assess learning outcomes, a final examination was administered on-site to prospective Party members. Participants were also encouraged to closely relate the material to their own ideological realities, engaging in thoughtful reflection on such topics as cultivating proper motives for joining the Party, how to hold themselves to the rigorous standards expected of Party members, and how to consciously demonstrate exemplary leadership in their respective roles. They were then required to promptly submit their reflections or ideological reports to their respective Party branches.
This training session is an important initiative undertaken by our institute to thoroughly implement the spirit of the “Detailed Rules for the Work of Developing Party Members of the Communist Party of China” and to strengthen the education and cultivation of prospective party members and newly admitted party members. Through this training, participants have deepened their understanding of the fundamental principles of the Party, clarified their motives for joining, and reinforced their confidence and resolve, thereby ensuring that our institute maintains high standards in the quality of party member development from the very outset.
