To thoroughly study and implement Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era and strictly enforce the Several Guidelines on Intra-Party Political Life in the New Era, in accordance with the work arrangements and unified deployment of the Party Committee of the Institute, the various Party branches of our Institute have recently completed, one after another, thematic organizational life meetings on the theme education campaign and democratic evaluations of Party members.
Prior to the meeting, each Party branch organized Party members to conduct focused study sessions and encouraged self‑study, thereby thoroughly studying General Secretary Xi Jinping’s series of important speeches on thematic education, as well as his key remarks and instructions on matters pertaining to their respective fields and systems. Members also studied the Party Constitution and the Several Guidelines on Intra‑Party Political Life in the New Era, further solidifying the ideological foundation for holding high‑quality organizational life meetings and democratic evaluations of Party members. Through face-to-face discussions, branch committee members engaged with one another, committee members held talks with Party members, and Party members exchanged views among themselves, soliciting opinions and suggestions. All Party members, in accordance with relevant requirements, conducted a thorough self‑examination to identify existing problems and shortcomings, and carefully completed the “Democratic Evaluation of Party Members Registration Form,” ensuring full preparation for the upcoming organizational life meeting.
In light of their organizational structure and actual production and business operations, each Party branch conducted this organizational life meeting and democratic evaluation of Party members by combining Party group meetings with plenary sessions of the branch’s Party members. On behalf of the branch committee, each branch secretary reported on the branch’s work over the past year. Party members, drawing on their own thoughts and practical experiences, focused on examining four key areas: their study and implementation of the Party’s innovative theories, their progress in cultivating Party spirit, their efforts to connect with and serve the masses, and their role in setting exemplary standards. Through identifying problems, conducting self‑criticism, and courageously engaging in criticism and self‑criticism, the meetings achieved the goals of aligning thinking, strengthening unity, and advancing work.
All Party-member leading cadres of the institute attended the organizational life meetings and democratic evaluations of their respective Party groups or Party branches as ordinary Party members. During the democratic evaluation of Party members, each Party group and Party branch, based on the daily work performance of its members, organized anonymous, objective, and impartial assessments and scoring. Drawing on the issues identified through self-examination, each branch clarified the directions for rectification, formulated specific corrective measures, and made commitments to implement them, thereby ensuring that the rectification efforts yield tangible results.
To strengthen guidance and enhance the quality of organizational life meetings, the Party Committee of the institute established a supervisory team for thematic organizational life meetings and democratic evaluations of Party members. Members attended the branch-level thematic organizational life meetings as observers and provided constructive feedback and guidance.
This organizational life meeting and the democratic evaluation of Party members constitute an important intra‑Party activity within the thematic education campaign to thoroughly study and implement Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era. Through criticism and self‑criticism, the broad ranks of Party members have further strengthened their sense of organizational discipline and cultivated their Party spirit, effectively enhancing the cohesion and combat effectiveness of the Party branch. This will help the grassroots Party branch better fulfill its role as a fortress in all future work, and enable Party members to more fully exemplify their vanguard status.
