“Party Building Leads to Unified Strength, Optimizing Services to Enhance Efficiency” — Our hospital has organized a thematic activity that leverages party building to strengthen mass organization work.

On April 12, led by the First Party Branch and in collaboration with the Third Party Branch, the General Union Branch, and the Institute’s Youth League Committee, party members, branch members, and young League members visited the Sanjianxi Party‑Building Education Base in Zhangqiu and the Chuangguandong Cultural Exhibition Hall, where they carried out a themed Party (Youth League) Day activity titled “Party Building Leads to Unified Strength, Optimizing Services to Enhance Efficiency.”

On June 14, 2018, General Secretary Xi Jinping paid a visit to Sanjianxi Village, Shuangshan Subdistrict, Zhangqiu District, Jinan City. After hearing a briefing on how the village, under the leadership of Party building, has strengthened its leadership team, promoted industrial development, protected the ecological environment, attracted and pooled talent, fostered a civilized village ethos and family tradition, and expanded its collective economy, General Secretary Xi pointed out that talent is the key to rural revitalization. He emphasized the need to actively cultivate local talent, encourage capable individuals who have left their hometowns to return and start businesses, and support college‑graduate village officials in taking root at the grassroots level, thereby providing a solid talent base for rural revitalization. He also called for strengthening the building of primary-level Party organizations, selecting and appointing strong leaders, and giving full play to the role of these organizations as fighting fortresses, so as to provide organizational guarantees for rural revitalization.

In the morning, following in the footsteps of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s inspection tour, everyone arrived at Sanjianxi Village. Comprising three natural villages, the village boasts over 5,000 mu of cultivated land, with a total of 1,160 households and 140 Party members. Under the steadfast leadership of Gao Shuzhen, the village Party branch secretary, Sanjianxi has transformed from disorder to order in just three years by strengthening its leadership team, harnessing the exemplary role of Party members, and using sound Party conduct to foster positive family values and public morals. The village has successively earned such honors as “National Model Village for Democracy and the Rule of Law,” “National Demonstration Village for Building Peaceful Families,” “Shandong Provincial Civilized Village,” and “National Civilized Village,” and has been awarded the “A‑Level Safe Village/Community” title by Zhangqiu District for six consecutive years. At the display boards of the village Party‑Mass Service Center, Director Huang, who was leading the briefing, outlined Sanjianxi’s journey—from weakness to strength—by focusing on five key areas: strengthening the leadership team, developing industries, improving the environment, cultivating talent, and promoting culture. He revisited with the group General Secretary Xi Jinping’s instructions and valuable records from his inspection of Sanjianxi during his visit to Shandong, and provided a detailed account of the village’s efforts to establish a distinctive Party branch and its “family‑oriented” management system for building public safety. Later, led by Li Qixiao, the village Youth League secretary, the group visited the Sanjianxi Rural Revitalization Exhibition Hall, where they learned about the village’s cultural heritage and the achievements of its historical figures, and explored the evolution of local practices in rural revitalization.

In the afternoon, everyone visited the Chuan Guandong Cultural Exhibition Hall to learn and reflect. “Chuan Guandong” stands as China’s grandest and most poignant migration epic, spanning from the early Qing dynasty to the early years of the People’s Republic. It is a sweeping chronicle of struggle, the longest continuous migration in world history, and a testament to the arduous, indomitable resistance of the impoverished masses at society’s lowest rungs as they forged a path to survival and development. The exhibition hall is organized into four major sections—“Unstoppable Steps,” “Integration into Guandong,” “The Spirit Forged by ‘Chuan’,” and “Daring to Break New Ground”—which trace the enduring legacy of Chuan Guandong culture from its historical roots to the present day, while highlighting the Party’s glorious journey and its remarkable historic achievements. There, attendees heard inspiring stories of contemporary practitioners of the Chuan Guandong spirit—striving to transform their circumstances and secure a better life—and witnessed their pioneering journeys marked by perseverance and resilience. They gained a profound appreciation for the Shandong people’s ethos of “daring to venture and innovate, excelling in action and achievement,” as well as for the red gene passed down through generations of Communists and their unwavering commitment to their original aspirations and mission.

Through on-site visits and study, all Party members and cadres personally experienced the tremendous energy of grassroots Party organizations in leading Party members and cadres to pioneer and forge ahead under arduous conditions. They were deeply inspired by the spirit of hard work, relentless striving, and indomitable perseverance demonstrated by the Party members and people of Sanjianxi Village, as well as by their wisdom and courage in daring to struggle and skillfully navigating challenges. All participants pledged to carry forward the red gene, consciously uphold the leading role of Party building and the exemplary, pioneering role of Party members, integrate the spirit of boldness, pragmatism, and responsibility into their respective duties, continuously enhance service efficiency, and energetically inject a steady stream of new, high‑quality productive forces into the hospital’s drive for high‑quality development.
