To implement the overarching requirements for Party building in the new era and the Party’s organizational line for the new era, and to ensure the effective execution of the “Seven‑Pronged Approach” to grassroots Party building—focusing on secretaries, institutional frameworks, and training—the Institute’s Party Committee organized a briefing on key Party‑building systems and a training session for Party affairs personnel on July 30. A total of 13 participants attended, including branch secretaries, members of branch committees, and staff from the Party affairs department. Pan Weicai, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Secretary of the Commission for Discipline Inspection, presided over the meeting and delivered a speech.
Pan Weicai pointed out that this training is designed to help Party affairs staff gain a more comprehensive understanding of the systems governing Party building, as well as the fundamental knowledge and relevant requirements in this area, thereby advancing the standardization and regularization of all Party branches. At the same time, by combining training with exchanges and discussions, the initiative seeks to pool collective wisdom and efforts to address the persistent issue of “two separate sets of work” between Party building and production‑operational activities, deepen the effective integration of Party building and business functions, and substantially enhance the quality of Party building at the Shandong Institute, striving to leverage high‑quality Party building to drive improved performance.
In this training session, the Party Building and Mass Work Department of the institute, guided by the principles of “practicality and effectiveness,” addressed issues identified in routine Party‑building work. Grounded in real‑world tasks and operational needs, the department has systematically compiled 21 key Party‑building policies and related guidelines. Chen Haiying, Director of the Party Building and Mass Work Department; Yin Xiuzhen, Party Committee Organizational Officer; and Dai Huimei, a specialist in Party‑building affairs, each drew on their respective experience and insights to present and explain the relevant regulations, fundamental Party‑related knowledge, and established standards and requirements. The aim was to highlight priority areas, deliver substantive content, and clearly articulate expectations, thereby effectively standardizing, advancing, and elevating the quality of Party‑building work.
During the training and study sessions, the secretaries and members of each Party branch regularly engaged in discussions and exchanges on issues arising in their day-to-day Party-building work, further aligning their thinking and strengthening their sense of mission and responsibility to ensure effective implementation of institutional arrangements and the high-quality advancement of Party-building efforts.
