In accordance with the unified arrangements of the Bureau (Group) Party Committee, the Bureau (Group) Party Committee’s First Inspection Team recently conveyed its inspection findings to the Party Committee of the Shandong Institute. Yin Jun, a member of the Bureau (Group) Party Committee, Chief Accountant, and member of the Inspection Work Leading Group, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. Wang Bin, deputy head of the First Inspection Team, briefed the leadership team of the Shandong Institute on the inspection results and the findings of the special review of personnel selection and appointment. Wang Qingfeng, Secretary of the Party Committee and President of the Shandong Institute, chaired the meeting and, on behalf of the Institute’s Party Committee, made a statement expressing the committee’s position.

At the meeting, Wang Bin pointed out in his feedback that the Party Committee of Shandong Institute has led all cadres and employees in dedicating painstaking efforts to advancing and developing the Bureau’s (Group’s) geological undertakings, making significant contributions. However, shortcomings remain in areas such as implementing the Party’s guidelines, policies, and the decisions and arrangements of higher authorities; fulfilling the “two responsibilities” for exercising full and rigorous Party self‑discipline; putting into practice the Party’s organizational line for the new era; and addressing issues identified through inspection tours,巡察, and audits. The Party Committee of Shandong Institute must uphold and strengthen Party leadership, thoroughly and comprehensively study, implement, and carry out the Party’s theories, lines, principles, and policies, as well as the major decisions and deployments of the CPC Central Committee; vigorously advance the action plan to deepen and upgrade state‑owned enterprise reform, continuously enhancing the vitality and momentum of enterprise development; earnestly shoulder the “two responsibilities,” and consistently promote the integrated approach to preventing corruption, combating corruption, and eliminating corruption; and strengthen the application of outcomes, using high‑quality rectification following inspections to drive high‑quality development.

In his address, Yin Jun emphasized that this meeting serves both as a feedback session on the inspection findings and as a mobilization conference for rectification efforts. He urged the Party Committee of Shandong Institute to attach great importance to the feedback received, confront problems head-on, assume full responsibility, and earnestly implement the requirements for inspection‑related rectification, ensuring that all corrective measures are effectively put into practice and yield tangible results. On behalf of the Bureau (Group) Party Committee, Yin Jun set forth three key requirements for the Shandong Institute Party Committee’s inspection‑related rectification work:

First, it is essential to strengthen political awareness and fully recognize the profound significance of rectifying issues identified during inspection tours. The Party Committee of Shandong Institute and all its cadres and staff must earnestly implement General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important expositions on inspection and巡察 work, as well as the Bureau Party Committee’s directives on continuously deepening the rectification of issues identified in inspection and巡察 feedback. They should ensure that their thinking is fully aligned with the spirit of the Bureau Party Committee’s inspection work and the requirements of the inspection teams, and, with a spirit of rigorous accountability and decisive action, ensure that inspection‑related rectifications are effectively carried out, thereby advancing the comprehensive and strict governance of the Party to greater depths.

Second, we must strengthen organizational leadership to ensure that the rectification efforts are effectively implemented and yield tangible results. The Party Committee of Shandong Institute must earnestly assume its responsibilities, integrating the implementation of corrective measures into the building of the leadership team, into production and operations, into deepening reform, and into the comprehensive and rigorous governance of the Party. It should strengthen the sense of responsibility and reverence among Party organizations at all levels for carrying out rectification, ensuring that, in response to issues raised in inspection feedback, lessons are thoroughly learned and broader implications are drawn; corrective actions must be undertaken with systems thinking, so that addressing one issue serves as a cautionary lesson for the entire organization and achieves the goal of improving governance across the relevant domain.

Third, we must strengthen the application of inspection findings and leverage the outcomes of corrective measures to drive high-quality enterprise development. It is essential to integrate the rectification of issues identified during inspection tours with the ongoing efforts to address problems uncovered in巡视, audit, education, and various forms of oversight and supervision. By adhering to a dual approach that tackles both symptoms and root causes, we will promote high-quality development, continuously strengthen the internal driving forces behind institutional progress, seize opportunities for reform and development, and effectively translate the outcomes of inspection‑related rectification into a powerful impetus for enhancing and improving our work and for advancing institutional reform and growth.

Wang Qingfeng stated that the Party Committee of Shandong Institute will humbly accept the tasks for rectification, align its thinking and actions with the inspection feedback and remediation requirements, and, in response to the issues raised in the inspection, conduct a thorough, item-by-item review, delve into the root causes, and develop practical, effective plans and measures for corrective action. The Institute will spare no effort to ensure full implementation of these measures, closing each case as it is resolved, and, with the most resolute attitude and the strongest possible actions, drive forward the rectification process. In doing so, it will translate the opinions and recommendations put forward by the inspection team into concrete momentum for enhancing all aspects of the Institute’s work and into tangible results that propel high-quality development.

A total of 37 people attended the meeting, including relevant staff from the Bureau (Group) Inspection Office, members of the Shandong Institute’s leadership team, mid-level cadres, and employee representatives.
