Shandong Institute
Shandong Institute has consecutively won two geological projects each valued at over ten million yuan: the “Iron Ore Exploration Project in the Dazhang Area of Qihe County, Shandong Province,” with a projected contract value exceeding RMB 40 million, and the “Surface Pre-grouting Works for Potash Mine Shafts in Nakhon Ratchasima Province, Thailand,” awarded at a contract sum of over RMB 17 million.
The iron‑ore exploration project in the Dazhang area of Qihe County, Shandong Province, will employ scientifically sound and well‑designed exploration techniques to delineate the strike and dip trends of the ore bodies, estimate the region’s iron‑ore resources, and assess the mining‑technical conditions of the deposit, thereby providing a robust geological basis for subsequent mine development and construction decisions. Advancing this project represents a critical step toward fulfilling the national targets assigned to Shandong Province; it will help further clarify the province’s mineral resource inventory, furnish strong evidence for formulating sound and rational mineral‑resource development plans, promote the sustained and healthy growth of Shandong’s mining economy, and make a positive contribution to achieving the nation’s resource‑security objectives.
The surface pre-grouting project for the potash mine shaft in Nakhon Ratchasima Province, Thailand, will employ a series of technical measures to address water inflow issues during shaft construction, thereby supporting safe and efficient project execution. Drawing on years of experience in water control at Lao potash mines, the project team will focus on two core areas—“improving existing grouting materials” and “developing new, corrosion‑resistant, high‑strength materials”—to tackle the challenging problem of mudstone grouting in the Sakon Nakhon and Vientiane basins of Thailand and Laos. The aim is to achieve groundbreaking scientific and technological breakthroughs while ensuring the smooth implementation of the project.
Mingda Northeast Company
Mingda Northeast Company’s Institute of Geological Environment has undertaken the Erjiu’er Coal Prospecting Project in Suibin County, Heilongjiang Province, with a contract value exceeding RMB 20 million. The project encompasses a wide range of activities, including geological drilling, hydrogeological drilling, surveying, well logging, hydrogeological mapping, sample testing and analysis, geological and hydrogeological documentation, core storage, and report preparation, printing, and publication. Additionally, an addendum has been added to include secondary interpretation of seismic data and line‑density enhancement across an area of 218.28 square kilometers. This project aims to fulfill all tasks associated with the coal prospecting phase within the licensed exploration area, deliver a comprehensive report, accurately estimate coal seam depth and occurrence, identify promising target areas for further exploration, and meet relevant regulatory requirements to pass review and acceptance—thereby laying a solid foundation for subsequent detailed investigations. The project will help ensure a stable energy supply, promote sustainable local economic development, and foster the coordinated advancement of coal resource exploitation and ecological environmental protection.
Fujian Institute
Fujian Institute has successively won the bids for the “Geological Survey Report and ‘Three-in-One’ Plan Preparation for the Yiceng Mining Area in Xiapu County” project and the “Southeast Auto City Avenue Project (Section from Rongtai Hotel to Dayi Primary School) – Investigation” project, securing a strong start to the new year!
The “Geological Survey Report for the First-Level Mining Area in Xiapu County and Preparation of a ‘Three-in-One’ Plan” project aims to comprehensively assess the basic conditions of the granite deposit used for construction and estimate its resource reserves; to thoroughly investigate the hydrogeological, engineering geological, and environmental geological conditions within the exploration area; and to develop plans for the exploitation and utilization of mineral resources, as well as for geological environment restoration and land reclamation, thereby providing technical support for the rational use and protection of mineral resources. Based on current orebody control and preliminary resource estimates, the mine’s potential economic value is projected to exceed RMB 500 million, bringing significant economic and social benefits to the local community. The Southeast Auto City Avenue Project (from Rongtai Hotel to Dayi Primary School) constitutes an essential component of the infrastructure development for the Southeast Auto City, playing a pivotal role in improving the regional transportation network and promoting local economic growth. This project seeks to provide robust and reliable data support for subsequent engineering design and construction through precise surveys and meticulous analyses.
Inner Mongolia Institute
According to the “Notice on Filing the Second Batch of High-Tech Enterprises Certified by the Recognition Agencies of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region in 2024,” issued by the Office of the National Leading Group for the Administration of High-Tech Enterprise Recognition, the Inner Mongolia Institute has successfully passed the review and been granted national high-tech enterprise status. This honor underscores the institute’s strong research capabilities and innovative strength in the field of geological exploration, earning high-level recognition at the national level, and fully demonstrates its unwavering commitment to leveraging new‑type productive forces to drive high‑quality development. It also lays a solid foundation for the institute to further enhance its overall competitiveness and brand influence, while continuing to advance innovation and progress in geological exploration technologies.
