This inspection adopts a combined approach of document review and on-site verification, conducting rigorous quality control at the project’s front lines.
I. Go to the front lines and implement targeted measures.
The inspection team conducted a centralized in‑house review of the documentation for Category I and Category II projects, and also carried out field visits to the Dazhang area in Qihe County, Shandong Province, for iron ore exploration; to the Taile Basin (Jinan region) for resource surveys in polymetallic mineral enrichment zones; and to Jiji Zhuang in Laiwu District, Jinan City, Shandong Province. - Conducted on-site inspections at the construction sites of several key projects, including the iron‑ore exploration and evaluation in the Dongquan River area and the ecological restoration project for historically abandoned mines in the Daijizi sub‑area of the Wulian Mountain Ecological Barrier Zone in Rizhao City.
At the Qihe Iron Mine project site, the inspection team focused on verifying original data from geophysical surveys and drilling operations, and engaged in in-depth discussions with technical personnel regarding the orebody’s occurrence and its patterns of variation. The institute’s chief engineer, Li Yinzhen, delivered a lecture to the project staff. “Safety Micro‑Party Lessons” require all personnel to remain constantly vigilant about safety, strictly adhere to operating procedures, and implement protective measures to ensure the safe progress of the project.

At the Tailai Basin and the Laiwu Iron Ore Project sites, the inspection team rigorously reviewed drill core samples and original data, engaged in in-depth discussions with the project team on key technical issues, and issued clear requirements regarding the timeliness and standardization of original data compilation.

At the Wulian Mountain Ecological Restoration Project site in Rizhao, the inspection team reviewed key aspects—including the construction plan, overall progress, and on-site conditions—and examined quality-control procedures. They also provided guidance and issued corrective action requirements for issues identified during the inspection.

II. Standardize Processes and Implement Closed-Loop Management
