BEIJING, March 12 (Xinhua) — To thoroughly study and implement Xi Jinping’s Thought on Ecological Civilization and to guide the entire society in firmly embracing and putting into practice the principle that lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets, the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee and the Ministry of Natural Resources have publicly recognized and commended the “Most Beautiful Nature Guardians.”
Nine comrades—Ding Zhengjiang, Shi Xiaojun, Wang Weimin, Wang Guiling, Bianba Zhuoma, Xu Liang, Xu Hui, Huang Weigu, and Liang Anbao—have been honorably selected. They are deeply committed to the cause of natural resources: some steadfastly safeguard arable land, permanent basic farmland, and ecological protection redlines, contributing to the solid foundation of national food security; others tirelessly patrol mountains and dense forests, dedicating their hard work to ensuring ecological safety in their regions; still others pool their efforts in the exploration, development, and research of mineral resources, leveraging science and technology to advance the green development of natural resources; some have pioneered innovative solutions to the challenges of resource registration and property rights confirmation, wholeheartedly upholding their original aspiration to serve the people; and yet others have spent years on the front lines of geological disaster prevention and control, protecting the lives and property of the public. Grounded in their respective posts, they demonstrate diligence and dedication, overcome formidable obstacles, and remain resolute in pursuing innovation, collectively embodying the spirit and demeanor of natural resources professionals in the new era.
Cadres and the general public have stated that the major achievements of ecological progress in the new era are the result of the tireless efforts and dedication of countless nature protectors. At the launch ceremony, a short video showcasing the exemplary deeds of the “Most Beautiful Nature Guardians” was screened, offering insights into their work and daily lives from various perspectives. Officials from the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee and the Ministry of Natural Resources presented them with certificates recognizing their contributions as the “Most Beautiful Nature Guardians.”
