The First Inspection Team of the Bureau (Group) Party Committee convened a mobilization meeting for its inspection of the Shandong Institute (Company) Party Committee.
In accordance with the unified deployment of the Bureau (Group) Party Committee’s inspection work, on May 7, the Bureau (Group) Party Committee’s First Inspection Team convened a mobilization meeting for its inspection of the Shandong Institute (Company) Party Committee. Long Yuanqing, Deputy Secretary of the Bureau (Group) Party Committee, attended the meeting and addressed the participants, while Zhang Jianchun, Head of the First Inspection Team and Regional Operations Director, delivered the opening remarks. Wang Qingfeng, Secretary of the Institute (Company) Party Committee and President, presided over the meeting and made a statement expressing the institute’s commitment to fully cooperate with the inspection.

Long Yuanqing pointed out that continuously deepening political inspections serves as a robust political safeguard for advancing the Party’s comprehensive and strict governance across the entire system and for ensuring the high-quality implementation of core tasks. This round of inspections is the first conducted by the Bureau (Group) Party Committee since the newly revised Regulations on Inspection Work of the Communist Party of China were promulgated, and it takes place against the backdrop of the Bureau (Group) launching a special campaign to comprehensively deepen state‑owned enterprise reform. Successfully carrying out this round of inspections is a shared political responsibility of the inspection team and the Party Committee of Shandong Institute (Company), and it holds great significance for strengthening the Party’s building within the enterprise and for promoting its reform and development. The ongoing study and education on Party discipline should be treated as a key component of the inspection, with efforts vigorously focused on ensuring that education on disciplinary rules and regulations is effectively implemented.

With regard to how to carry out this inspection effectively, Long Yuanqing put forward three points for the inspection team and the Party Committee of Shandong Institute (Company): First, It is essential to accurately grasp the CPC Central Committee’s new arrangements and requirements for inspection and巡察 work, so as to better fulfill the political duties and mission of political inspection. Second, It is essential to accurately grasp the distinctive features and priorities of this inspection tour, and to ensure that political oversight is made more concrete, precise, and routine. Inspection teams should focus on sector-specific characteristics to identify entry points for uncovering issues, while the Party Committee of Shandong Institute (Company) must emphasize the effective application of findings and deliver a thorough follow-up on corrective measures. Third is It is essential to accurately grasp the requirements of the newly revised Regulations on Inspection Work of the Communist Party of China, ensuring the successful completion of inspection tasks. Inspection teams must strengthen their political development, guide their work with innovative theories, and advance their efforts with a spirit of seeking truth from facts and pragmatism. The Party Committee of Shandong Institute (Company) should ensure thorough rectification to effectively address common issues in a coordinated manner.
Wang Qingfeng delivered a statement, noting that this inspection represents a comprehensive review of the work of Shandong Institute (Company) by the Party Committee of the Bureau (Group), and will undoubtedly serve to advance the institute’s (company’s) reform and development. All Party members and cadres are urged to elevate their political awareness, proactively submit to political oversight, approach the inspection with a strong sense of responsibility and a rigorous, conscientious attitude, ensure effective implementation of assigned duties, and strengthen overall coordination. With regard to the issues raised in the inspection feedback, immediate corrective actions must be taken, with thorough rectification across the board; at the same time, underlying causes should be thoroughly investigated, lessons learned from each case applied more broadly, and long‑term mechanisms established, so as to propel Shandong Institute (Company) to a new stage of high‑quality development.
At the meeting, the inspection team and the special inspection team on personnel selection and appointment conducted democratic evaluations and questionnaire surveys. Wang Bin, deputy head of the Bureau (Group)’s First Inspection Team and head of the Special Inspection Team on Personnel Selection and Appointment, along with members of both teams, attended the meeting, together with members of the institute (company) Party Committee leadership, departmental deputy heads and above, and employee representatives.
