In April, with blossoms in full bloom and the spirit of spring abounding, now is the perfect time to plant trees and green our world.

Recently, led by the Third Party Branch of our institute and in collaboration with the Second Party Branch, a group of Party members and staff joined forces with the Party Branch of the Lixia District Bureau of Natural Resources to carry out a volunteer tree-planting themed Party Day activity at the construction site of the “Lixia District Bureau of Natural Resources Geological Hazard Mitigation Project for the Zhongjingxi Mountain Collapse” undertaken by our institute.

At the event site, Party members and employees were highly enthusiastic and full of energy. Working in close coordination, the teams divided tasks and collaborated seamlessly—shoveling soil, setting seedlings into holes, firmly packing the soil, and watering them. Everyone performed their assigned roles with precision and order, ensuring that every step was carried out thoroughly. After a morning of hard work, they successfully planted a batch of saplings, adding a touch of greenery to the scene.

This event not only enriched the content of our themed Party Day activities, strengthening the Party branch’s cohesion and combat effectiveness, but also further inspired a sense of responsibility and mission among all participants to plant, cherish, and protect green spaces—serving as a vivid demonstration of our institute’s proactive efforts to implement Xi Jinping’s Thought on Ecological Civilization. Party members and staff pledged to continue championing a green, low‑carbon lifestyle, consciously serving as both advocates and model practitioners of the principle that “lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets.”
