On December 29, Zhang Shuqi, Safety Director of our institute, Wu Shumeng, Director of the Tai’an Geological Branch (Business Unit), and other members of the delegation, accompanied by Zhang Zhaoyuan, Head of the Overseas Business Department of Jinan Yuxiao Group, visited the 8637C zircon–titanium sand mine site in Pebane, Zambezia Province, Mozambique, to conduct an inspection and provide guidance on the detailed exploration project for the 8637C zircon–titanium sand deposit in Zambezia Province.

Upon arriving at the site, the inspection team first inquired about the project team’s current living and working conditions, extending warm words of concern and support. After hearing a briefing from Project Manager Meng Linghua on the project’s progress to date and its achievements, the inspection team expressed approval of the work being carried out. The team also identified existing challenges, engaged in discussions with the project team, and put forward practical, actionable recommendations for the next phase of the project. Zhang Shuqi emphasized that all project members must firmly uphold the principle of safety first, rigorously implement the institute’s regulations on workplace safety, and ensure the project is completed to a high standard and in full compliance with safety requirements.
