[Role Models Around Us] Heartwarming Service Earns Sincere Gratitude

Recently, our hospital has received two heartfelt letters of gratitude—one addressed to Zhou Xiaomei, Deputy Director of the General Office (Party Committee Office) in charge of human resources and Party organization, and the other to Li Gang, Deputy Director of the Logistics Service Center (Taian). Both handwritten notes were penned by the family of Comrade Li Wei, a deceased employee who was awaiting reassignment. The simple, sincere words in each letter clearly convey their deep appreciation and heartfelt thanks to the staff of our hospital’s relevant logistical departments.

Not long ago, Li Wei, a staff member of our hospital who had been placed on standby, tragically passed away suddenly due to an unexpected illness. His family traveled great distances, making successive visits to our hospital’s Jinan and Tai’an office locations to handle the necessary arrangements. Staff members including Zhou Xiaomei from the General Office and Li Gang from the Logistics Service Center put themselves in the shoes of the bereaved, addressing their urgent needs with utmost care and empathy. By delivering meticulous, thoughtful, and heartwarming services, they helped the family navigate the darkest moments of their lives—marked by helplessness, grief, and confusion—while experiencing “family‑like warmth and support.” Through concrete actions, they brought comfort, strength, and renewed confidence to face future challenges and setbacks.

Two letters of gratitude reflect the full recognition and high praise that employees’ families have for our hospital’s management and service efforts. Moving forward, we will take the thematic education campaign on studying and implementing Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era as an opportunity to encourage all cadres and staff to learn from role models around them, steadfastly uphold our commitment to serving the people, and carry out our work with even higher standards and stricter discipline. We will strive to provide more attentive, heartwarming, high‑quality, and efficient management and services to our employees and to all departments under the hospital.
