On November 22, following the conclusion of our institute’s 2023 New Employee Orientation and Onboarding Training, the Institute’s Youth League Committee organized newly hired young League members to visit the Jinan Liberation Memorial Hall (Liberation Pavilion), a base for revolutionary tradition education in Jinan, where they engaged in on-site thematic learning. By examining the hall’s invaluable exhibits—authentic artifacts, photographs, and historical documents—the participants gained a deeper understanding of the history of the Battle of Jinan, paid heartfelt tribute to the revolutionary martyrs, and received a profoundly meaningful and vivid red‑education experience.
Through on-site learning activities, the Youth League Committee of the institute calls on newly recruited young members to draw lessons from history to inform the present, and to reflect deeply on such questions as: “Compared with our predecessors, what are we lacking?”; “Compared with them, what have we gained?”; and “In light of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s expectations for Chinese youth in the new era, as well as the demands of the times and the needs of enterprise development, what further preparations must we make?” By integrating these reflections with the ongoing thematic education, they are encouraged to strengthen theoretical study, enrich practical experience, and continually deepen their understanding and grasp of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era. They are also urged to gain a clearer sense of the responsibilities and missions entrusted to today’s geological exploration youth, to actively join the great historical tide of national rejuvenation, and to translate the spiritual strength drawn from on-site learning into concrete actions—dedicating their youth and passion to advancing high-quality enterprise development and contributing to the new era.
