On November 14, Meng Xianlai, former member of the Party Leadership Group of the former Ministry of Land and Resources and former Director-General of the China Geological Survey, led a delegation to our institute for an inspection and to provide guidance.

Party Secretary and President Wang Qingfeng extended a warm welcome to Meng Xianlai and his delegation, providing an overview of the institute’s basic profile, historical development, and industrial structure, and highlighting the reform and development achievements as well as the accomplishments in geological work attained in recent years.

Meng Xianlai stated that he has personally witnessed the new achievements of our institute’s reform and development, as well as the significant breakthroughs in high-quality growth, and expressed full recognition and high praise for the series of geological accomplishments our institute has attained. He encouraged us to fully leverage the Shandong Institute’s strengths in resources, talent, and technology, intensify efforts in scientific and technological innovation, and, drawing on our professional geological exploration capabilities and extensive geological data, strive to make further contributions in the next phase of the strategic initiative for breakthroughs in mineral exploration.

The hospital leadership and heads of relevant departments accompanied the inspection.
