Striding forward with vigor and determination on a new journey of entrepreneurship, we forge ahead with courage to write a new chapter of development. At this historic juncture as we build momentum for the 14th Five-Year Plan and enter a critical period for advancing high-quality development at the Shandong Geological Exploration Institute, the general party members’ meeting of the Shandong Geological Exploration Institute of China Chemical Geology And Mining Bureau and Shandong Sinochem Geotechnical Engineering Co., Ltd. was successfully held on October 26. Comrade Mao Youhao, member of the Party Committee and deputy director of the Industrial Sector Retired Cadres Service Center of the Shandong Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, attended the meeting to provide guidance and deliver a speech. A total of 87 party members from the institute, including probationary members, participated in the meeting, while representatives of the democratic parties were present as observers.
Comrade Mao Youhao expressed full appreciation for the Party Committee of Sinochem Shandong Institute, which, over the past five years, has steadfastly taken Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era as its guiding principle, thoroughly implemented the spirit of the 19th and 20th National Congresses of the CPC and all previous plenary sessions, and fully leveraged its pivotal role in “setting direction, overseeing the overall situation, making decisions, promoting reform, and ensuring implementation.” As a result, the institute has achieved a series of remarkable accomplishments in Party building, economic development, reform initiatives, scientific and technological innovation, and transformation and upgrading. He also articulated three expectations for the new leadership teams of the Party Committee and the Commission for Discipline Inspection: first, to uphold the CPC’s overall leadership and provide robust support for the institute’s various undertakings; second, to take proactive responsibility and drive the deep integration of Party building with core work; and third, to combine strict governance with caring concern, thereby consolidating and fostering a positive atmosphere characterized by integrity, uprightness, and a spirit of dedication and entrepreneurship.
The Congress reviewed and approved the work report delivered by Comrade Wang Qingfeng, entitled “Striding Forward with Vigor on a New Journey of Entrepreneurship, Bravely Pioneering a New Chapter of Development, and Continuing to Strive for High-Quality Enterprise Development Under the Leadership and Assurance of Party Building.” It also reviewed and approved the Commission for Discipline Inspection’s work report, presented by Comrade Yang Cheng, titled “Focusing on Core Responsibilities and Duties, Fulfilling Obligations with Dedication, and Providing Strong Disciplinary Guarantees for the High-Quality Development of Shandong Institute.” In addition, the Congress heard a report on the collection, use, and management of party dues by the Institute’s Party Committee.
The congress reviewed and summarized the work of the past five years, analyzed the current situation, and outlined the overall guiding principles and objectives for the next five years. It also elected the new committees of the Shandong Geological Exploration Institute of China Chemical Geology And Mining Bureau and Shandong Zhonghua Geotechnical Engineering Co., Ltd., as well as the new discipline inspection committee. Following the conclusion of the congress, the first plenary session of the newly elected Party Committee unanimously elected Wang Qingfeng as Party Secretary and Yang Chengwei as Deputy Party Secretary. Similarly, the first plenary session of the new Discipline Inspection Commission unanimously elected Yang Chengwei as its Secretary.

The conference calls on all cadres and employees of the institute to rally closely around the Party Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping at its core, hold high the great banner of socialism with Chinese characteristics, take Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era as our guiding principle, fully implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, earnestly carry out the decisions and arrangements of the Bureau (Group) and higher-level Party committees, and rigorously fulfill all work requirements of our institute. We must tackle tough challenges, forge ahead with determination, and pursue practical results, thus writing a new chapter in our institute’s geological exploration endeavors on the new journey ahead, and continuing to unite and strive unremittingly to build a first-class geological exploration enterprise.
