The Mineralization and Geophysical Exploration Branch (Business Unit), the Detailed Exploration Project Team for the Guojie Copper‑Polymetallic Mine in Changning County, Yunnan Province, and Manbo, Fengshan Township, Jinggu County, Yunnan Province. - During the May Day holiday, the verification team for the Liangshuiqing Copper Mine’s reserves remained on duty around the clock, working overtime to meet the project schedule. Team members stayed at the forefront of the field, continuing to embody the “Three Glories and Four Special Qualities” spirit of Sinochem Geology professionals.
Both project sites are located in Yunnan Province, where the terrain is highly dissected, with towering peaks and deep valleys and dense vegetation. Fieldwork there presents significant difficulties and challenges. Nevertheless, the entire project team has fully upheld the fine tradition of Sinochem geologists—never shying away from hardship and demonstrating remarkable resilience—traversing mountains and valleys, overcoming numerous obstacles, and ensuring both the quality and timely completion of all tasks.

In the next phase, the two project teams will concurrently carry out hydrogeological and environmental geological mapping, tunnel surveying and logging, exploration‑drilling operations, sample collection, and analytical testing. They will also comprehensively compile and synthesize all data, analyze the ore‑forming conditions and metallogenic patterns of each mining area, delineate favorable mineralization zones, and plan (or adjust) trenching, tunneling, and drilling programs to achieve breakthroughs in mineral exploration, thereby laying a solid data foundation for the preparation of subsequent reports.
