The institute’s leadership paid a visit to the Sixth Geological Brigade of the Shandong Provincial Bureau of Geology and Mineral Resources for research and exchange.

Recently, Wang Qingfeng, Party Secretary and President of our institute, led a delegation of seven to the Sixth Geological Brigade of the Shandong Provincial Bureau of Geology and Mineral Resources to study the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important reply letter, and held a symposium with members of the brigade’s leadership team.

Ding Zhengjiang, Party Secretary and Captain of the Sixth Geological Brigade, extended a warm welcome to the visiting delegation from the institute. He provided a brief overview of the brigade’s historical development, talent cultivation, scientific and technological breakthroughs, and mineral exploration achievements, with particular emphasis on the implementation of the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important reply and the plans for the next phase of work. He noted that in recent years, the institute has continuously optimized its industrial structure, advanced enterprise reform, and tapped into market potential, taking solid steps toward building a new development paradigm and achieving positive results in high-quality development. He expressed the hope that both sides will further expand areas of cooperation, leverage their respective strengths, promote mutual progress, and play an even greater role in implementing the new round of strategic initiatives for major mineral exploration breakthroughs.
Wang Qingfeng outlined our institute’s industrial development strategy and the specific measures we have implemented to deepen reform and harness innovation. He noted that Team Six, as the nation’s only heroic geological team, remains firmly committed to serving the country’s major strategic priorities and the broader provincial agenda, while steadfastly pursuing scientific and technological innovation and emphasizing technology-driven leadership, thereby achieving substantial results. He expressed the hope that this research symposium would serve as an opportunity to further strengthen bilateral cooperation in areas such as domestic and international market development, business management, and cultural building, fostering a strategic partnership based on mutual benefit and win‑win outcomes, and jointly shouldering our mission to support the high‑quality development of Shandong Province’s geological and mineral resources sector.


Prior to the symposium, the institute’s leadership, accompanied by Ding Zhengjiang, revisited the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important reply and toured the Sixth Team’s historical exhibition hall. Members of our institute’s Party Committee leadership team and heads of relevant business departments, along with members of the Sixth Team’s Party Committee leadership and heads of its related departments, attended the fact-finding visit.
