Wang Qingfeng, Secretary of the Party Committee and President (also Executive Director and General Manager), attended the meeting and delivered an important address, outlining the overall plan for safety and environmental protection work in 2023. Following the meeting, Wang Qingfeng delivered the “First Lesson on Work Safety” via Tencent Meeting to all employees on duty, and each department and project team organized online viewing among their staff.
Wang Qingfeng emphasized that workplace safety is the cornerstone of enterprise development and the prerequisite for all operations. To achieve high-quality growth, it is essential first to carefully assess the “cost‑benefit” of safety, establish a solid safety foundation, and comprehensively enhance intrinsic safety levels. In the face of new circumstances and tasks, safety and environmental protection management must remain closely aligned with strategic planning. Leaders at all levels and safety management personnel must elevate their political awareness, strengthen their sense of responsibility for safety and environmental protection, and spare no effort in ensuring robust safety and environmental safeguards, thereby providing a secure and stable environment for the institute’s high‑quality development.
The meeting called on all departments to promptly mobilize and organize study and implementation efforts, promptly convey the spirit of the meeting to all levels, align thinking, raise awareness, and strive to foster a work environment characterized by unity and harmony, proactive dedication, and a positive, upward‑looking ethos. Guided by Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, all departments must resolutely implement the Bureau’s (Group’s) various work arrangements, uphold higher standards and stricter requirements, spare no effort in strengthening safety and environmental protection, firmly prevent and curb accidents, ensure the Institute’s high‑quality development, and demonstrate political competence and a sense of responsibility in advancing the cause of Chinese‑style modernization.
