On the eve of the successful convening of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, Shandong Sinochem Geotechnical Engineering Co., Ltd. led its vast ranks of cadres and employees in an in-depth study of Volume IV of “Xi Jinping: The Governance of China,” the important speech delivered at the special seminar on studying the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s key addresses in preparation for the 20th National Congress, as well as other significant expositions on the reform and development of state-owned enterprises. On the morning of October 16, the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China was solemnly convened in Beijing. The Institute of Geological Survey organized all its staff to watch the opening ceremony on time. During the session, General Secretary Xi Jinping delivered a work report on behalf of the 19th Central Committee. Inspired and energized, the institute’s employees unanimously pledged to keep General Secretary Xi Jinping’s instructions firmly in mind, steadfastly uphold the “Four Consciousnesses,” and confidently strengthen the “Four Confidences.” They resolved to continue upholding the geological spirit of “taking pride in dedicating oneself to the cause of geology, taking pride in hard work and perseverance, and taking pride in making contributions through mineral exploration,” earnestly fulfilling their historic mission of serving the country through science, and celebrating the triumphant convening of the 20th CPC National Congress with high spirits and vigorous determination.
