Our hospital convened a work deployment meeting on workplace safety, epidemic prevention and control, and economic development, as well as the third session of the Safety Committee.

On the afternoon of September 26, our institute convened a meeting to deploy measures for epidemic prevention and control, workplace safety, and economic development. The meeting conveyed the spirit of relevant meetings held by the Group (Bureau) and coordinated the implementation of key tasks in these areas for the near term. Wang Qingfeng, Party Secretary and Director of the institute, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. More than 30 participants, including institute leaders, heads of various departments, and safety management personnel, took part in the meeting through a hybrid “online plus offline” format.

At the meeting, participants engaged in a集中学习 session on General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important remarks on work safety, received briefings on the Group (Bureau)’s directives regarding recent epidemic prevention and control efforts and work‑safety measures, and reviewed the key points of the address delivered by Liu Xingwang, General Manager, Deputy Party Secretary, and Deputy Director of the Group (Bureau), during the video conference. In addition, arrangements were made for the institute’s ongoing work on work safety, epidemic prevention and control, and economic development.

The meeting noted that the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China is a highly significant gathering convened at a pivotal moment as the entire Party and all ethnic groups across the country embark on a new journey toward fully building a modern socialist country and march toward the second centenary goal. We must thoroughly study and implement General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important expositions on work safety, adhere to the requirements set forth by higher authorities, and rigorously uphold the overarching principle of “containing the epidemic, stabilizing the economy, and ensuring secure development.” We should coordinate development with security and, through concrete actions, create a safe and stable environment conducive to the successful convening of the 20th National Congress.

The meeting emphasized the need to approach workplace safety with the highest level of political awareness, deeply recognizing the paramount importance of ensuring safety at this critical juncture. From the perspective of balancing development and security, it is imperative to strengthen both political and practical resolve in preventing and defusing major risks and hazards. Heads of all departments must attach great importance to this task, rigorously enforce all responsibilities for workplace safety, ensure accountability is implemented down to the most grassroots level, and resolutely prevent any safety incidents.

We must implement all epidemic prevention and control requirements with the strictest standards, overcome complacency and laxity, and, prior to construction work and travel, promptly monitor local epidemic prevention policies and requirements. We must strictly comply with local regulations, adjust our work plans, and put in place all preventive measures to ensure that epidemic control remains a top priority and that no problems arise.

We must uphold overall stability with the utmost sense of responsibility. Party organizations at all levels should strengthen ideological and political work, serve as trusted confidants to employees and the general public, and continue to carry out the “Doing Practical Things for the People” campaign. By approaching issues with dedication and empathy, we will steadily address the pressing concerns, difficulties, and aspirations of workers and the public, thereby fostering a favorable environment of harmony and stability for development.

We must exert our utmost effort to ensure the successful completion of all annual targets and tasks. With a strong sense of responsibility and a commitment to action, we will vigorously advance key initiatives such as market development, risk management, and the reduction of working capital and inventory. Aligning with our year‑long business objectives, we will sprint through the fourth quarter, closely monitor progress against set targets, adopt a reverse‑schedule approach to project timelines, firmly assign accountability, refine implementation measures, and seize every minute to accelerate progress. By working flat‑out for 90 days, we will ensure the smooth achievement of all annual goals and tasks, and greet the victorious convening of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China with concrete actions and outstanding results.
