To further ensure the high-quality completion of ongoing geological projects, the Group (Bureau)’s Third Quality Inspection Team recently visited the Yunnan Institute to conduct an inspection and provide guidance.

The inspection team heard a report from the Yunnan Institute on the management of geological work, the implementation of geological projects, and related matters. They conducted inspections of the quality management system, project management procedures, and project documentation, then proceeded to the construction site of the phosphorus‑ore resource‑verification project in Xiaojiaoying, Jinning District, Kunming City, Yunnan Province, where they assessed the project’s green exploration practices, the standardization of the field project office, and the implementation of safety‑production measures. The team commended the Yunnan Institute for its quality management system, operational standards, and project organization, while also offering constructive recommendations and guidance on issues identified at the drilling‑site. They urged the project office to further refine its management in accordance with standardized‑site requirements and to ensure that safety‑production efforts are carried out thoroughly and meticulously.

Going forward, the Yunnan Institute will take this inspection as an opportunity to urge project teams to carry out thorough rectification in accordance with the identified issues and requirements, further strengthen oversight and inspection of geological projects, ensure full compliance with standards and specifications at all levels, and rigorously enforce the three-tier quality‑inspection system. By embedding quality management throughout the entire project lifecycle, the Institute will effectively enhance both the quality and managerial standards of its geological projects, thereby providing superior geological technical services to support the Institute’s high‑quality development.
