On July 6, our institute organized its cadres and employees to participate, via video link from the Jinan and Tai’an sub-venues, in the Group (Bureau)’s special work‑progress meeting on the “Year of Strengthening Compliance Management” and the employee compliance pledge‑signing ceremony, and simultaneously signed the Employee Compliance Pledge on site.
In his address at the meeting, Shang Honglin, Party Secretary and Chairman (Director) of the Group (Bureau), emphasized that compliance is both a responsibility and an obligation for the enterprise and its employees, serving as their armor and shield. The Compliance Handbook of Sinochem Mingda Holding Group Co., Ltd. provides all employees with a code of conduct and guiding principles; in our work, we must always keep compliance top of mind, uphold it in every action, lead by example, and translate the spirit of compliance into concrete deeds.
In accordance with the meeting agenda, our institute has signed over 200 Employee Compliance Commitment Letters. Moving forward, we will place comprehensive corporate governance in strict compliance with laws and regulations at an even higher priority, firmly reinforcing our sense of responsibility and mission in strengthening compliance management. Specifically: first, we will strengthen leadership awareness of compliance and fully leverage the role of the “key few”; second, we will establish and refine working mechanisms to swiftly address key challenges and bottlenecks; third, we will prioritize overseas compliance to provide robust support for our international operations; fourth, we will rigorously conduct oversight and accountability measures to create a closed-loop system for compliance management; and fifth, we will increase resource allocation to further solidify our operational foundation. We will earnestly elevate compliance efforts to the level of implementing Xi Jinping’s thought on the rule of law, and, guided by Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, align with our institute’s core development strategy of “1231,” focusing on our primary responsibilities and core business to ensure the steady progress of high-quality development.
